Not trying to be rude, just want to understand, so no pressure to answer. If you detransition, do you still identify as trans, or as a cis person who was once trans or...

its... complicated, really. idk what the majority opinion is bc, like i said, theres not much discussion of it outside t/er/f circles. so i havent seen what ppl think. 

for me, it took me a long time to stop using the term ‘trans’. i feel like detransitioning implies not identifying as trans but i also think like... idk ‘cis’ sometimes isnt right either? after living and identifying that way for years, and with the complicated feelings i have from being a lesbian, ‘cis’ still feels... weird. i call myself cis when compared to trans women because i dont want to create confusion, but i dont really feel right calling myself cis either. “detransitioned” on its own i think illustrates the point best for me. 

my friends w similar experiences tend to say the same??? but yeah im. not rly sure either! i’d say ‘trans’ wudnt fit anymore lol. but i also think ‘you were just a confused cis person’ is... an insulting way of going about it, which is why that post upset me. i hope that makes sense!

Like feeling helpless and like he couldn’t do anything for his own brother would’ve been so frustrating, while with nancys problem, it was right there right now and he could actually help her and actually do something about it. He could, like you said, use it as an outlet to try and get some of that frustration out

cozy blankets: where do you feel the most safe and at home?

In bed at home, at any of the tables at Barnes & Noble or Half Price Books, basically anywhere I can chill and read for a few good hours! the Barnes & Noble cafe has become a new fave of mine because the combo of reading + indie music playing in the background + the soft ambient noise of a bookstore + a pumpkin spice latte is actual Bliss

smelly candles: what’s your absolute favorite scent?

in general -- petrichor. loooove the smell of things after it rains.

in terms of candle scents -- apple and cinnamon or lavender, though tbh all candles smell so good it’s difficult to choose!
