My character Helka wearing a bunad and a crown inspired by a Norwegian wedding attire! The entire character is based on Norwegian folklore, and I was kinda inspired by gelflings too, hence the ears.
Practicing different colouring methods in Clip Studio too, went for something simple with this, flat colouring with some cell shading and some airbrushing for highlights and some shift in the colours. I think it turned out real nice ^^

🌿🌼💕 These are our Norwegian folklore inspired characters Helka and the troll Teis. Helka grew up among humans, but she discovers that she is very different. She remains short, her hair grows wildly no matter how often they cut it.
One day she ventures further into the woods than ever. Of course she gets lost, and only after stumbling across Teis is she shown the way back home. As they talk things start making sense to her, and after thinking it through she venture out to find him again. Little do they know that Helka is a lost princess, destined to reclaim the throne, and Teis is going to aid her on that path.

So I made a new character! Her name is Helka and she is inspired by norse folklore and gelflings from Jim Henson’s the Dark Crystal! I love her so much already ^^
She is a little person, her hair a mess and she walks around in a Norwegian folklore dress.

Eg trudde ikkje mine egne øyrer i ittemiddag, og holdt nesten på å dra vår høyt “elskede” Grand Voyager lukst te skogs.. Itte ett byttebonanza av dimensjonar.. Me hadde vært på Amanda Senteret og bytta litt forskjellig, nåke så me fikk 2 av og andre ting så ikkje passa.. Sjølsagt holdt me poker fjeset på Jula aftå, så ingen trur nåke aent enn at me va strålande fornøyd.. Og nå e Kånå endå meir…
