Fun fact: I (have not yet) graduated! I’ll officially get my diploma in June, post-study-abroad, but this weekend I walked across the stage, was handed an empty diploma cover, and flipped my tassel. I’ll be forever grateful for the amazing, and occasionally very frustrating, experiences I had at BYU. But more importantly, I’ve been made better by my education, the faculty I was blessed to work so closely with, and the best friends I’ve made, who’s friendship, empathy, and kindness have carried me through some of my hardest days. Thank you to my professors, friends, roommates, and family who have made it all possible. BYU Fanatics! This Sat was a preseason picnic for these BYU Enthusiasts to gather & enjoy their favorite subject: of course BYU Football! Hanging out w/people I don’t know from Adam isn’t really my cup o tea normally but I was able to see the endearing side of this crowd of BYU Fanatics. I did find some common interest w/the other football season widows & talked w/the kids. There were a few BYU players that came to hang out & mug for the cameras. Cosmo (BYU’s Mascot) even made an epic appearance. He played ball w/the kids till one over enthusiastic fan unwittingly fronted the kids to throw a few impressive spirals back to Cosmo. His son on the other hand was not amused. He said he wasn’t too pleased with his dad honing in on his play. Oh well, it is what it is when testosterone kicks into gear on the green. Everyone enjoyed Hotdogs, green salad, chips, potato salad, pork n beans, pistachio jello salad, watermelon and assorted sweets that were filled w/gluten so I didn’t indulge. While it’s not some silly #holiday such as #NationalSiblingsDay, it is on #October 02 this #KidSister’s (by 10 months). This also qualifies as a #DSLR #SundaySelfie since it is taken with a #Canon7DmarkII mounted on a tripod via an #iPhone6S📱. Both of us are #OremHighSchool classmates (‘78), & #BYUalumni (she ‘81 me ‘85). Nora (aka @nora_organ) has also gone on to earn an M.Ed in #MathEducation from the #UniversityOfUtah, & is working on an MFA in #MusicalPerformance (Organ) from #BYU. #MooreFamily (at Lindon, Utah)
