Foolish x Reader: Swimming With Sharks (Fluff)
Being hard at work with Foolish was worse than hard, it did little help that it was mid summer making the blazing sun feel a thousand times worse. You would much rather be in the Nether at this point, who knows maybe it would feel cooler than right now. Sighing softly you flopped down in the shade a near by tree provided. Granted it wasn't much but it was still something.
The sweat that had partly soaked your clothes cooled just a bit making you take a slow breath in. Offering to help Foolish finish up one of his builds was the biggest mistake you had made and the day just begun. Even though it was still early morning the sun had already began to bake everything it touched. The moistened grass beneath your body did little to cool you down and much to your disappointment the build was only half way done.
Your (s/t) body jolted as Foolish yelled your name to help him finish up. With a groan you forced your body into the seated position, taking a brief moment before raising up to make your way to the shark hybrid. The golden toned hybrid hadn't even broken into a sweat not even a light one. The acknowledgment that he hadn't even broken into a sweat made a growl rise up from your throat.
Taking what you needed you moved to begin finishing one side of the build, all the while Foolish was behind you looking confused. Never before had he heard you growl like that nor look like you despised him. Shrugging it off for the moment he too gathered what he needed to meet you half way. While it may have felt like forever, splitting the work equally between the two of you was the best decision you both made. It made the work go by faster, it may not have felt like much to Foolish, but by the time you both had finished the build it was noon.
Feeling sticky from sweat and feeling like you reeked, you offered a quick small good bye to Foolish before heading off to the smaller beach. Kicking your shoes off, you pulled your socks off and placed them inside your shoes. Taking a moment to let your tender feet adjust to the scolding sand beneath them, you took a deep breath. The scent of the water and sand felt nostalgic in some way.
Feeling the desire to feel the cool water at your skin you quickly stripping your sweat soaked clothes until you were in your bra and underwear. Just as you began stepping towards the water the waves began pushing higher on the the bank. It almost felt like the water was trying to lure you in by tempting you. The moment the water began washing around your ankles was the moment you realized the water was much cooler than outside of it.
With slightly quickened steps you eagerly walked further into the water until it reached your waist. Sighing you lowered yourself a bit at a time just until your shoulders were slightly above the water. Closing your (e/c) eyes you let yourself sink into the water just until it barely covered your shoulders. With a deep breath you sunk yourself the rest of the way so the cool water washed over your whole body. Surfacing you gasped slightly before smiling at how rapidly your body cooled.

Scratching my head for a moment I tried thinking of why (Y/n) had left so quickly. She had never made a build with me without celebrating the finish. Her (h/l) (h/c) hair was pulled back so it was out of her face, her normally (s/t) cheeks were all flushed. Her naturally scent seeped out pasted her deodorant and perfume. Perhaps she isn't feeling well? If there was one person to ask it would to Punz, they were roommates after all. Walking towards Church Prime I caught a quick glimpse of Punz, quickly calling out to him I jogged over offering him a smile.
"You are roommates with (Y/n) maybe you'd understand better then me, but is she sick?" I asked tilting my head to right a bit. Punz looked confused for a moment and seemed to think to himself.
"Not that I know of why?" He asked putting his hands in his white hoodie pocket. I took a moment to explain her behavior and why I was questioning. Punz gave a snort before placing a hand on my shoulder, giving a happy sigh with the gesture.
"You know Foolish for a guy who has a crush on my sister from another mister, I would've thought you would've known she isn't a fan of hot weather." Punz said with a smug smile. Raising an eyebrow in confusing to what he meant, she never seemed to bothered before.
"(Y/n) doesn't like getting too hot and sweaty, it makes her irritable and feel disgusting. You could probably find her by a source of water swimming around in hopes to cool off." Punz laughed slightly before wishing me luck as he walked away. My tail swished a bit as I racked my brain for the areas with the coolest water. The first placed I made sure to check was the creak Sam and I would go to when we were too hot.
Searching around for a moment I made the quick decision she wasn't here, turning around I made my way to the main beach. Yet again I studied the area searching for sightings of her and still found nothing. The urge to head the small beach on the right tugged at my guts. With quickened steps I made my way there only to see her (f/c) top and her (f/c) bottoms discarded beside her (f/c) converses.
Frowning I looked out towards the water only to see her beautiful (s/t) back facing me as she surfaced. Smiling I made quick work of stripping most of my garments as well before easing myself into the water. I smiled as the sudden idea to scare her popped into my head. I sunk myself to the floor of the water and used my tail to help me swim. Getting into a good position I quickly swam towards her smaller form quickly grabbing her ankles before surfacing in front of her.
Her sudden yelp was the first thing I heard before she smacked my shoulder. (Y/n) quickly scolded me for scaring her as I laughed at her playful hits. Taking a moment to look into her (e/c) eyes I quickly took in her features. (H/l) (h/c) hair dripping with water, her (s/t) skin shining, and the lovely playful glint in her stunning (e/c) eyes. I couldn't help but smile at how breath taking she was.
"Wanna go swimming with me?" I asked taking a hold of her hands. She gave a quick answer of sure with her cute giggle mixed in. Smiling I pulled her body closer to mine until we were chest to chest, she placed her hands on my shoulders looking confused at me. I twisted us so that she was resting on my back before I pressed forward keeping our heads above the water. Using my tail to help us swim I kept my hands on her thighs making sure my tail didn't bump into her by accident.
I melted at her sweet laughter and the sounds of her amazement as we swam by a coral reef. There was one thing Punz got right, I did have a crush on her. I wouldn't tell her today, but maybe sometime soon. For now though I'll keep her swimming with the sharks so I know she is safe anytime she comes to swim.
