If the Mafia!C!Nightmare and Bernadette AU were replaced with the iconic millionaire CEO Nightmare, it would be a reskin (and I do mean just straight up reskin and environment change but no lore change).

If you all are wondering what Bernadette's job would be in this AU, it would not be his maid in his mansion— that's too weird for a mother and son— it would not be his assistant— that's less weird but she needs to be more anonymous than that and she isn't into the assistant business— but it would be...

His limo driver!

I chose this because a limo driver and a CEO is an unexpected twist.

For limo drivers, you'd expect there to be this completely professional "I pay you" and "I get your money" relationship.

Limo drivers in movies and shows are NEVER the main character and are always background characters shown on screen for like- 5 seconds, so having one be the second main character is a twist. And not only that, but secretly the CEO's MOTHER?
