Neeeed a high functioning autistic lesbian preferably with an oral fixation (AKA Dr. Mel King 😩) yesterday!
I strongly believe Santos and Robby are parallel characters.
I don’t think he’s inherently a misogynist in the same way I don’t think Santos is inherently a misandrist. They both need help - Robby more than anyone else - and there is no difference between how Robby and Santos treat Langdon other than Santos isn’t his boss so she has to respect his authority. I don’t think Robby can handle authority and is extremely preferencial to white males neither of which is surprising as a white, american, male, 50, and head of his department, he’s not an exception. His racial prejudice towards people of color (more specifically those under his purview) is the most alarming and dangerous.
rue was borderline asexual (imo) in seasons 1&2
and now she’s an out lesbian gay asf confirmed in every episode. I’m just 🤏 confused. but work ig 🏳️🌈
to clarify, the label isn’t what’s throwing me, it’s this wide gap that seemed to being built up between rue and her personal relationships, sexuality, intimacy, self that I thought was going to be bridged since it was so heavily dwelled upon. It’s such a nuanced topic that I thought would be more intentionally handled i suppose. Idk this is more about discourse than anything 💭
a dr. yolanda garcia apologist 🫣
proper name, place name, sub bottom vi 💭😍🤤
I only watched the season for Maddy, and once again they just found 10 new ways to f* her over … *sigh*
I propose adding Heretic (the film) to the required list of movies/books in high school, it’s so so so intentional about addressing topics that are incredibly harmful TODAY. If you haven’t watched it I’d recommend. Not horror but psychological thriller/suspense (some gore).
