Shit. That was the door. Jack staggered to his feet and rushed--which was more of a slow limp--to the door. He knew Eli would have nothing but butthead things to say. But he was still glad he was coming. Was that weird? "Don't wake up Jae," he said as soon as he'd opened the door. Jack stood there for a moment, shirtless with blood smeared across his face, just staring at Elijah. "Oh, hey. Come in." He ushered the guy into the living room which had been converted into a bedroom since Jaelynn had taken the real bedroom. Eli was probably super impressed.
