The best part about having a horror-themed Spidersona is REALLY leaning into the horror theme. Just get ridiculous with it. All of this is to say that Weaver listens to 101 Halloween Party Sound Effects when they're bored.

HEY I saw your post about your Weaver guy :) (I FORGOT TO GIVE THEM A CARNIVAL MASK IM SORRY BUT LIKE YOU DIDNT HAVE AY REFERENCES SO I MADE IT UP)
With and without bg!
SCREAMING, CHEERING, CLAPPING, KISSING YOU ON THE FOREHEAD (if you're cool with it) LIKE A MAFIA DON. I love themmm this is so perfect. Also, it's fine, that mask works well <3
Pick a canonical detail about Weaver, my "weird little guy" Spidersona
They love pretending to bend spoons with their mind
They once had to gaslight people who saw them be hit by a train and regenerate
They were a spy in WWII and kept letting their spiders eat Nazis
Their hat is from a Prince concert they went to in the 80's
They make up a new story every time another Spider asks for their backstory
Modern NYC's perception of them ranges from "menace" to "weird cat outside"
They were recently a seven-week Jeopardy champion in their universe
Yes, they went to Jeopardy as Weaver, in costume
They love playing the violin and absolutely suck at it
Does your spider sona have any villains they fight? Or is he just scaring the hell out of unfortunate gangsters
Weaver has equivalents of various classic Spider-Man villains! Some are relatively close to their other-universe counterparts, like Vulture/Adrian Toomes or Kingpin/Wilson Fisk. Their backstories are pretty similar to those of Earth 616's Vulture and Kingpin.
Notable differences include Quinn Beck, her universe's Mysterio, who is still a practical effects enthusiast but is significantly more altruistic. Beck views Weaver as an extremely dangerous individual (an anomaly, if you will!), and her illusionist abilities are a direct attempt to counter Weaver's superhuman senses. Scorpion/MacDonald Gargan is an ex-private investigator who had a similar encounter with something-from-beyond while on a case, and Weaver has tried to ask him what he saw many times to no avail. He is REALLY determined to kill her, which is disappointing. This is a set-up for the eventual Terrible Father Figure arc.
There are also rumors that Lady Octavius never actually died, but that's impossible, right? Anyway, fun fact: there is no Green Goblin, but the Weavers and the Osborns of Oscorp fame are actually related.
hey. how exactly does weaver pretend to bend spoons with their mind. because 1 that seems like a very hard thing to convincingly fake and 2 it's kinda surprising that they can't *actually* bend spoons with their mind
It's a pretty easy magic trick that Weaver likes to do to impress people! (It usually does not impress people, but she doesn't care.) She doesn't have telekinetic abilities (though she'd really like them, please) and unfortunately the Doctor Strange in that universe isn't taking on any protégés at this time. Ah well. </3
Spidersona question! What are their characteristic Moves? (During fighting, webslinging, etc.)
Ohhh Weaver is a big-time stealth hero. One of their unique abilities is a kind of low-level environmental/reality manipulation that aids them in moving unseen -- sound-deadening effects in their immediate era, lights shutting off at opportune times, security cameras moving to accommodate a blind spot. They can also teleport, though the ability is somewhat-limited in that it's dangerous to try it when they can't see the location they're trying to reach (Nightcrawler rules). Their fighting style is evasive; they're strong, but less physically durable than a lot of Spiders, so they have a regeneration ability to make up for it. Their fights involve avoiding being hit (when possible) and REALLY throwing themselves into incapacitating someone when that's not possible. Scary fella!
what are your spidersonas fav dessert?
Weaver loves lemon-flavored stuff, especially cake and gelato. They are also mentally ill about taiyaki ice cream.
