Iris Sharp is an only child to Bree and Bentley Sharp, and grew up in New York her whole life. Even as a child, Iris had always been considered a little…intense. She doesn’t mince her words and with a temper to boot if someone annoys her enough, Iris can be considered a ticking time bomb. There is no half-assing anything in her eyes. She’s all in when she sets her mind to something. And she had never been more all in than she was when she first laid eyes on the Rebecca Ravenwood. She was in awe at the woman she watched on screen and since then had dived deeply into anything and everything Ravenwood. Then came finding out that there was a brother, Roman…and a daughter, Roni. Hell yeah. Enamoured with the acting dynasty she made it her mission to get close to them. Flash forward years later and Iris’ feet were firmly planted in the industry, her goal never wavering through her years of study. A strategic stalk here and a follow there and she found herself “bumping” into Rebecca Ravenwood at a hotel when she was doing press for a project. With a small window to make an impression, Iris rambled, passed over her resumé to Rebecca’s publicist and next thing she knew Rebecca was walking off. It was the best two minutes and forty six seconds of her life…that was until she got the phone call. Rebecca needed an assistant and Iris’ resumé was impressive enough to land her an interview. A few white lies here and a few tall tales there and she got the job. A dream come true. This was everything. Now she set her sights on winning Rebecca and her family over. It had all been going so well. Iris was doing the most and Rebecca was pleased with her work, even stopping to chat to her throughout her day. They had built a great working relationship. Then the Brat Pack came back on the scene and Rebecca’s attention shifted, and for that, Iris was no fan.

Iris wasn’t a part of the original takedown of Gossip Girl and to be quite honest, she doesn’t give a shit. A die hard Ravenwood loyal, did Iris make sure that Rebecca’s ex’s tires were mysteriously slashed? Maybe, you can’t prove anything. Does Iris specifically fuck with Jamie at any opportunity for her own amusement and her own personal vendetta that the actress clearly has no idea about? Maybe, you can’t prove anything. Does she submit tips into Gossip Girl to drag people she dislikes that are close to the Ravenwoods? Maybe, you can’t prove anything. Did she throw her own cousin under the bus to make sure she was earning the trust of the people around her? Maybe, you can’t prove anything. Roman Ravenwood - she’s in awe of the guy and seeks his approval - he’s not giving it to her which is pissing her off. He doesn’t even look at her, it’s infuriating, she’s never wanted him more.
