“Human architecture is so small.” It’s not easy being an eight foot tall goddess, no siree.
Family Squabbles
Ares stood next to one of his sons, unyielding in this family squabble. “You’re making too big of a deal out of this,” he argued, shaking his head at Aphrodite. It was high and time that the twins started coming along to the battles that were predicted to be more dangerous. Ares had incredible faith in both of his sons, and there wasn’t a doubt in his mind that they’d be able to hold their own. “Right, son? Don’t you want to come with me?” @dallasrxxd
Lessons in Love
The sun had long since set, but Ares was still on the training field. He’d lost track of how many nights he’d spent in the grass with Aphrodite. If anyone asked, he’d tell them the obvious truth - that he was training her to fight. But there was more to it than that. Every moment he spent with her made him crave more. Though he set out with the intention of truly instructing her on how to properly wield a sword and spear, many nights he felt more fulfilled from just talking to her. “You’re a fast learner,” he grinned from behind his shield, the moonlight shining down on his shirtless, sculpted body. “Didn’t I only just teach you to strike that way?” @auroraminett
"You're too much." Dean to Aphrodite
Aphrodite smiled a smile that surely told Dean that he really had no idea. She could be much more if he wanted her to. Being larger than life was something she was good at. Being memorable was something she was good at. Being too much was practically her specialty. But no one had ever complained before and she doubted Dean was going to be the first. Aphrodite tilted her head to the side and pursed her lips in a pretty little pout “You say that like it’s a bad thing…” She purred, trailing a finger down his chest. If he wanted to see too much, then she would show him too much.
"Why are you doing this?" Dean to Aphrodite
“This is what you wanted!” Aphrodite shot back, pointing a finger at Dean. “This is what you asked for!” He’d called to her asking for her to bring his love back. She’d done that and more! Not only did Dean have her now, for the time being, but he was also going to have a part of her forever. She was pregnant with his child and would be leaving him with a little someone that he could love forever. And he was mad at her for it? She didn’t understand. But the deed was done now and there was no way he could deny it, unless he wanted his child to grow up in a half blood camp by itself. Aphrodite put on a smile that was known to calm anyone down and approached Dean slowly. “This is good news, my darling.” She soothed, running her fingers through his hair. “You’ll see that soon, I promise.” It may take him some time to get used to it. But this baby would be his great love before too long.
“Aphrodite...I know you might not be exactly be too fond on who I’m dating, but I was wondering if I could get some advice?” @aphrodite-love-me
“Which do you think is better?” She asked, her back to whomever she was addressing as she gazed at herself in the long oval mirror. In her hands were two dresses, one of red silk adorned with glittering jewels and the other of sheer see-through fabric with finely stitched bird patterns decorating it. Both would be fine for the occasion, the Winter Solstice was only ever fun for Aphrodite as an excuse to pretty herself up. The actual gathering of the Gods with their lengthy discussions and disagreements grew tedious quickly.
“I think I like the red, but the other should cause quite a stir and Zeus only knows this whole ordeal always needs livening up.” Aphrodite finally glanced over her shoulder, bright eyes taking in the sight of her guest before a welcome smile appeared. “I suppose you haven’t come to see me just to help me pick out something to wear…”
The Goddess could easily pull off either dress, it made it hard for her decide and she couldn’t help but laugh in agreement with Aphrodite. “The red is awfully festive,” She piped up from her seat. “I think either way you’ll be turning heads.”
Fashion actually was the whole reason she came to see Aphrodite. Erato felt like she never had the best fashion sense... She liked casual, flowing fabrics, not a lot of embellishment, comfy and breathable... None of her usual’s seemed to really fit the occasion... She wanted to feel a little more dressed up... Elegant...
“I, uh,” She let out a nervous giggle. “It’s silly, cause I actually came to ask you what I should wear?”
Can someone show me to the Photography room?
Uhh yeah! Cause I’m totally on my way where there now!
