Theo was struggling, he had an easel and a canvas under one arm, he was using his other to carry his schoolbag, still full of books, and another bag of painting supplies. Every few metres he would nearly drop something and have to stop to readjust his load. But it would be worth it, he knew it would be worth it. The sun was just beginning to set, dinner would nearly be over but the castle would be his for another hour, at least. He was in a long corridor now, with large open air archways that opened out to a breathtaking view of the grounds. He didn’t have the time or the energy to cart everything outside so he had opted for a somewhat restricted view. He hadn’t yet painted the classic Hogwarts architecture, much preferring the beauty of nature. But there was a first time for everything, after all. He frowned as he turned a corner, seeing a student sitting alone. He recognised the boy almost immediately, they were in the same year but had never spoken. Being so open and talkative, he had long since come to understand that the people he never managed to make conversation with, likely didn’t want to make conversation with him. It was for this reason that he planned to pass Augustus by without saying a word, but as he reached the boy, he was overwhelmed by the strong and unmistakable scent of alcohol. Frowning, he just couldn’t help himself. He set his easel down, propping it up and leaning on it ever so slightly. “Is... everything okay?” He asked, his voice barely louder than a whisper. “Are you okay?”
