“First on the bottom this week: Henny. Really only here because of familial obligation but, you know, still vaguely cool. Orpheus takes the next spot. Why? Because it feels right and we still haven’t gotten tattoos together. Excuse you.’

“And at the middle of the pyramid... Carmen and Brynn. Two of my most favorite gorgeous demons. Text me. I’m requesting hell. Thank you.’

“Last, but certainly not least: who’s at the top of the pyramid? Ivan. His cat memes continue to impress.”

Rick had been in his own head a lot lately. He had been making sure the check on Brynn, but he wasn’t as open after what had gone down at the healing center. He was shook watching the kid get shot in the face. It even reminded him of watching his security team die when he was attacked. He just had been so withdrawn after that, but he would never desert Brynn knowing that she was in her chair and he still enjoyed her company even if he was shit company right now. He knocked on the door, before using his key. “Hey, Brynn, you home?” he asked, completely forgetting to text her and let her know he was coming first. He’d gotten so comfortable just showing up most of the time.

When Rick had gotten the invite to come over, he remembered one simple rule, never come to someone’s home empty handed. It was sort of a last minute thing so he didn’t exactly have anything at the ready. His mind went to flowers. He was out and about at the store anyway, so picking up something didn’t seem too out of the way.

When he made it back, he headed over to her apartment with a bouquet of yellow roses and a gigantic bag of popcorn, just in case she didn’t like the roses. He knocked on the door, announcing his presence and when the door was opened he held out the popcorn first, the flowers sort of hidden behind the bag. “Hey, Beautiful, I was already out and about, so I figured I’d get you something. I never like to come to someone’s place empty handed.” He handed over the popcorn, trying to smoothly not make a big deal about the yellow roses. The lady at the store said they meant friendship or something.

Open to: any gender  PLOT:  your significant other just broke up with you, and our friendship ended because i tried to explain to you how they were bad for you and now you’re crying at my doorstep.   

Brynn knew that it was her own fault that the other’s partner didn’t like her, she came off as abrasive especially because she was really protective of the other and she could tell that the other had a bad vibe. And when the other cut off contact with her she knew it was her doing, sure their partner had probably did it to keep them all to themselves, but it stung that the other had went through with it, that was over two months ago, and currently Brynn was sitting on her couch drinking wine trying not to think about how much she missed them. She heard a knock at the door and didn’t think anything of it, used to other’s in the gang stopping by unannounced for things, but what she hadn’t expected was seeing the person she had been drinking to forget how much she missed them. 

She stared at them sob and there wasn’t a hesitation she pulled them into her arms softly rubbing their back shushing them. There wasn’t an i told you so, or instead she just held them close pulling them in and closing the door before pulling away to wipe their tears away “Hey talk to me, why are you so upset how can i make it better.”

It still felt surreal looking at her. Even if he blinked once, twice, however many times. Brynn Wright, daughter to a member of one of his favorite bands, was still standing right there. One of his classmates. Cool. Normal. Nothing to freak out about. Maybe he should say something. Seems quite stalker-esque just to hover. Yea. He nodded, drawing over towards her but also towards the drink table. “I haven’t tried that yet,” he said, pointing at whatever it was she reached for. “Any good?” Yes. Yes, this was normal, cool conversation.

Cameron was sitting in the office with a pile of paperwork on her desk, but instead, she was looking through a wedding magazine. Her attention span was often times quite short when it came to things she didn’t want to do, and she was less about the paperwork and more about the actual action and detective work she had to do. Filling out forms about harassment or someone setting someone on fire was just the bane of her existence.

She rolled her desk chair over to Brynn’s desk stopping short before she bumped into her. “I have been sitting here for an hour not doing paperwork, looking through this wedding magazine. Which I have something important to ask you,” she said then. It was odd that they’d been through hell and now here she was planning a wedding. “Would you be a bridesmaid in my wedding?”

Mountain, Plant :) , Bug, Cave

Mountain: What’s the furthest you’ve ever travelled?

I believe probably Dubai is the furthest I’ve traveled. 

Plant: What, in your opinion, is your best aspect?

I believe that in my opinion my eyes are my best aspect.

Bug: What’s your most irrational fear?

That there are still people out there that know I’m a wizard and they’re not only going to take my career again, but also take...you and Nora and Lizzie from me. 

Cave: Where’s your favourite hiding place?

The studio, or this little hole in the wall bar just outside of town. I perform there every Thursday night.

Rick had worked hard over the break. He’d made sure that he was doing everything that he could to make sure everything was in order for  him to split time between RIAP and music. He’d even recorded a few songs, geared up for some collaborations, and his schedule had been packed but it just meant the first month at RIAP would be focusing on just that. He never thought he’d be happy to be back, but it wasn’t so much the school but the people that had made him want to be here.

One person in particular actually. He hadn’t told her what day he was coming back, and he knew things were sort of ambiguous with his contracts and such. When Rick got back to campus he asked around to see if anyone knew where Brynn was, and he headed for the gym which was where he was told she was. He watched her for a moment, his smile growing at just the sight of her. “You’re a sight for sore eyes, Beautiful,” he said in greeting, hoping that he wouldn’t startle her with his greeting.
