Casey had seen Cece fleetingly at the Spring Fest but since most of that day had been spent with her family the two hadn’t properly caught up in a while. Plus with the lawyer going back to work full time at the beginning of the week she had even less free time to socialise, if anything the woman was back to throwing herself into every case head first to make sure she did the very best possible, leaving only the weekends for spending time with friends. The evenings were for her family and prepping for the next day in court.
Heading into the cafe with the girls in a pram she looked around for the princess, spotting her at a table tucked into the corner, grateful that since it was likely to be quieter than another. Not that she would admit to just how exhausted she was, Casey had even gone as far as to insist with Elias that she took the twins to coffee and she was totally fine. “Cece, hi, you look great! Married life suits you.” She offered a friendly smile, negotiating the pram as best she could down the side of the table. @cwindsr
