Arden: Where are all of you guys? Are you okay?
Toni was hiding behind a bush. He’d been playing hide and seek with Quinn, and two of her friends from school. He was the seeker, and he had two of them in his sights. As he was about to turn to get them, he ran into Devin. “Shit…my bad…Shhh,” he shushed her. “Get down,” he advised as he went back to spying on the kids. “We’re play a bragging rights version of hide and seek, and you just stumbled into it. I was about to school these kids. Wanna play?” he asked, figuring that with the way things had been going for the woman she could probably use some fun. He doubted she ever truly had wholesome fun like this, but that was just his assumption.

Keanu was out in the bar when he saw a familiar face. One that he hadn’t had a pleasant conversation with earlier. “Can I buy you a drink? It’s sort of like my peace offering. We got off to a weird start. I’m normally not rude. But if you aren’t talking about your sister maybe we can have an actual conversation like two normal non-humans.”

Devin was a notoriously light sleeper at even the best of times, just a simple noise or shift from his boyfriend in bed was sometimes enough to wake him up. So when he’d heard what sounded like the creek of the floorboards out in the hallway of the apartment it hadn’t taken long for Devin to be stirred from his sleep. At first he tried to ignore it, assuming it was just the wind or his imagination but after the third creek of the floorboard he’d started to shake his boyfriend Eric awake and whisper to him that he could hear something outside in the hallway. His boyfriend had been less than happy about being woken up but when it became clear Devin’s fear was genuine and perhaps more than just paranoia he finally agreed to get up and go check after a little grumbling and annoyance at his partner. So Devin sat upright in bed as Eric quietly opened the bedroom door and headed down the hallway and out of sight.
For a moment Devin just sat there, a couple minutes passing before he could of sworn he heard some kind of shifting and rapid movement before silence. It might have just been his paranoia letting him hear that but after Eric didn’t come back after five minutes that paranoia seemed more than a little justified. “Eric?” He tried to call out, still keeping his voice low. It be just like his boyfriend to get a little revenge for being made to get up and check by staying quiet and making Devin worry for no good reason. So he threw the covers off and stoop up wearing just a black tank top and black boxers to match as he walked across the wooden floor in his bare feet and began to hesitantly step outside the bedroom and into the hallway. “Eric? You can cut this out now, joke’s over” He said as he moved through into the living room and tried to look around for any sight of his boyfriend throughout the apartment; unable to shake the feeling that he was being watched or stalked like a predator that was honing on their helpless and clueless prey. “Eric where are you? This isn’t funny anymore.”
“Well, well. What do we have here?” Devin asked, eyebrow raised and leaning back against the large couch. He knew they’d be getting some fresh meat soon, always plenty of pledges to go and there always some fun involved when that happened. Though if someone was particularly special or promising they sometimes got a little more attention; like right now.
“So this is the baseball scholar kid? Hm, not what I was expecting” He remarked, slowly eyeing the other up and down slowly and taking no shame in it. Devin had his legs shamelessly open, wearing a pair of gym shorts that he hadn’t changed out of yet after his work out. A white tank top that looked too small for him and barely contained his chest. “And what exactly makes you think we should give you special treatment and let you join our ranks when we’ve got plenty of boys who have been working for weeks for that right?” He asked, head tilted and a cocky expression as he raised his eyebrows. Hand rubbing slowly over his own chest, the thin strands of fabric twisting as he did so.
“How exactly do you plan to prove yourself, scholar boy?”
“Your house wasn’t broken into was it?” Arden question her sister.

“Hey, so I’m no therapist, but I’m helping a buddy of mine fix up his house or rather, helping him build another and we’re tearing out walls and he’s also got an old clunker out back. Maybe you want to go with me and tear some stuff up? It might be therapeutic in the we don’t have to talk way?” he suggested.

Devin leaned against the counter watching her fuss and vent about customers treating her poorly and honestly he wanting to fight the people who had made her this stressed out “I can see you’re stressed, and I honestly think you need a break from this establishment, so why don’t we go for a drive? To no place special and let you clear your head, I hate seeing you stressed like this.”
