Five & Grace
❄ ( Do you know who I am?)
The woman stared at her child. He was still a child, in his features at least, in the way he stood though. Something about him was different, older, but that was still Five. That was the boy. A boy who didn’t want a name, who just wanted a sound, a number to remind of something that defined him. She never understood that but that’s what he wanted and she respected that. Grace rubbed her hands nervously. The mother sighed her lip trembling. Walking over to him Grace smiled, she had a little hope, Ben remembered her, maybe Five would too. The words stuck in her throat, hard to say because a mother never should have to say these words. “Do you..do you know who I am?”
