It was early in the morning, the sun having just risen outside, and the kitchen is bathed in a dim, but warm light. Belva’s turned the light above the sink on, but other than that she keeps the lights off as she almost mechanically moves about the kitchen. She’s attempting to get back to her usual routine, the one she was so used to back in London, although being back at the house on the hill meant that her sleep quality wasn’t quite what it used to be. Holding back a yawn, she glances at the wall on the cooker, 5:57 AM staring back at her. Her oatmeal is on the counter in front of her, and the blonde cuts some fruit for the top of it for a moment before a noise from behind her draws her out of her thoughts.
Belva has always been easily startled, like a small bird, but given recent events, she can’t help but to be even more on edge than normal. However, the figure that has caused the noise isn’t some ghost child or deranged stranger, but her sister. Or at least, legally she’s her sister (even if it rarely felt like it). “Graciela,” she nods, pausing in her fruit cutting. She remembers seeing the other woman at the time capsule event, but it wasn’t as if they’d really talked. In fact, the last time she remembers talking to the other woman was when Harley had found that trophy. @gracielathanas
