Even though realistically Mason knew that everything was fine and that he was out of the situation he’d been in with the lockdown, the sound of something clattering on the table caused the brunette to jump, his drink spilling over the side of the cup. His heart was hammering hard in his chest and he took a moment to inwardly remind himself he was fine and that nothing bad was happening, a breath following before he offered a slight smile. “Sorry...
