“I never thought I would see the day that you were late for a meal.” Roman drawled as Marcus all but fell into his seat at the Head Table on the other side of Shane. The Hufflepuff librarian was obviously ruffled, his usually messy curls were completely out-of-control and his mustard yellow cardigan sat on his shoulders a bit crookedly.
“I don’t even want to talk about it.” Marcus all but sighed as he reached to first pour himself a glass of cold pumpkin juice before beginning to pile his plate high with whatever food was within arm’s reach. Roman watched him for a moment, taken aback by the younger man’s dismissal as Marcus was typically a chatterbox to end all chatterboxes once you got him going. Glancing over to the blonde witch that was in between him, Roman raised a brow that so obviously asked her, ‘are you going to do something about this?’ before looking back over to Marcus who was now stuffing his face as if he had not just run in late for the first time in the few years that they had all worked at Hogwarts.
“Any special announcements I missed?” Marcus asked once he had swallowed his first few mouthfuls of dinner, though Roman was fairly sure that he hadn’t even chewed them, instead scarfing them down like a rabid wolf.

The faerie waited and watched from behind the counter for the man to find the red sharpie on the napkin that she had sent with Philip as he served his table tea. Well kept nails drummed impatiently on the tabletop the further her smirk stretched. Cash register, loser xo the red sharpie read. When he looked up to her, she pressed a soft kiss to a couple of fingertips and sent them in his direction. A fitting greeting, it had been too long.
Shane | never imagined

She had seen his face in crowds a thousand times. The boy who made her believe in love. The reason she had given up on it. She didn’t hide it from those that knew her history, his death was a solidifying factor in her beliefs as a hunter. One of the driving forces behind denying even a glimpse of humanity any supernatural. Her mother knew the event was the reason she’d never guide her daughter into a normal life; but even she didn’t know Darcy blamed herself for the disaster.
Usually when she caught a glimpse of his boyish features in the crowd, they’d disappear by the time she took a second look. It was a teenage giggling with friends, or an older gentlemen she imaged he’d look like now. She’d never admit how often this happened. It had been twelve years but not a day went by where she didn’t replay the events in her mind. So many things she could have done differently. So many wrong choices.
This was different though. She caught dark hair from the corner of her eye but when she looked he didn’t disappear. His features hadn’t changed much but he’d gotten taller and his figured filled. He was moving away from her though and quickly. Her hand forcefully came down on his shoulder, turning him around to face her. She was probably too aggressive. “Owen?”
Vince was in a minor accident. Walking about fine, I’ve taken him to get checked just as a precaution. Car isn’t so lucky. @xshaneomacx, @mcmahonheiress

Beth had been at the hospital for a while now, keeping her head down and doing her best to just get through another day. It had been quiet for weeks. Beth knew that there was something strange about this place, how they lied about how she got here. They think she doesn’t notice how they sneak into patient’s rooms at night, how she can hear their muffled screams through the walls. It’s the middle of the night when there’s finally a noise she doesn’t recognize.
Beth slowly gets up out of her hospital bed and peers into the hallway to see a group of people she’s never seen before. Except for one. She recognizes him right away.
“Shane?” Beth calls out before she can stop herself.
Who do you want to see Shane cheat on Meredith with?
“Marissa.”
