"Thanks for coming here and getting take out," he said to his cousin, the full moon yesterday had been pretty hard on him that month. "I don't know why I thought it would be smart to plan something else the day after a full moon." Cam moved to grab his food, wincing slightly before settling back on the couch. "We haven't gotten to talk much about your trip to France. How'd that go?"

"Octavia, a pleasure to see you. I don't know whether to be surprised or not that you are out again so soon after Halloween. From my understanding, you seemed to have a good time." He'd not really had the opportunity to catch up but he'd definitely seen her round and about.

“So now that we’ve managed to lose my darling husband, what debauchery are we going to get up to here? Preferably something more sat down than stood up.” Clara added, much to her chagrin. She hated not being able to be rushing about as much as she was used to and she still pushed herself but sometimes her body screamed at her to stop.

Jace caught up to Octavia when he saw her at the festival. “Hey, I figured I’d find you around here somewhere. When were you going to tell me you and Erin slept together?” he teased lightly.

“O, please don’t say you’re coming over here to drag me out to dance. I already let Clara do that like three times tonight,” Kai mentioned. “You know I’m not much of a party guy.”

Ollie walked down the streets of London with his mum, doing his best to hide that his mind was a million kilometres away.  Ever since Dani’s comment about his hero complex and his wanting to save girl’s and moving on from them when he felt like he couldn’t, he wondered if it was true.  Combine that with the -A message reminding him that he wasn’t as nice of a guy as he thought he was and he was feeling less than great about himself.  But this trip wasn’t about that.  It was about helping his mum feel a bit more normal and a lot more relaxed. 

He looked over at her as they walked, giving her a small smile. “I found a place to rent a tux for the opera tonight.”  He offered. “You know I wouldn’t do that for just anyone so I hope you feel special.” He teased gently.

The day had been a long one and Sebastian was ready to collapse into his bed. If he thought he could manage it then he would have stayed up another night, working until the rosy-fingered dawn caressed his skin and birdsong forced him out of his concentration. But whatever research he had planned for tonight he would just have to find time to catch up on tomorrow as he was now preparing for bed.

Perhaps he was already half-asleep or perhaps he just hadn’t noticed she was there, but it seemed that one moment Sebastian was pulling his shirt over his head and there was no one there, and the next his wife was stood before him. A wife he had barely seen in days. “Octavia,” He bit back his yawn, trying to do her the courtesy of at least staying awake as he spoke to her. “Did you need something?”

With everything that was going on currently in the castellum, Alaya was doing what she could to distract herself. Unfortunately she could not get to the suspect of the murder as he was being kept under lock and key. It was the last bit of good fortune she intended for him. She would not condemn an innocent man, but as soon as his guilt was implicitly proven then Alaya was ready to claw the flesh from his bones.

Until then, distracting hobbies would have to suffice to keep her bloodthirst at bay. Exploring the local flora and fauna had been something to keep her occupied and she had returned from her latest hunting party with a vast selection of her discoveries in the absence of any actual trophy and had spent the afternoon crafting artful arrangements. “Do you think perhaps I have gone a little overboard?” She asked of her sister-in-law.
