His presence become known once he stopped by the restaurant at least three times a week. The food prepared at the restaurant had always made him ponder about his time spent in Italy during the first year of the 21st century. He roamed parts of the world, seeking to find someone who will in any type of way help him return home without having to question him about what he did for a living and why he needed help. Everything he needed, he preferred to keep it as a secret, unless he had created enough trust between him and whoever. The restaurant become a place where he would be able to sit down and not have others stare at in such amazement at what he wore or gave him odd stares because of the Victorian clothes. The restaurant almost became a home, providing him the food and comfort he needed all at once, yet he knew this was no home to and it could never be.
The restaurant owner begin to develop into someone who Pryalis grew used to, although he still didn’t bother to tell the male why he wandered so much, and only came in three times a week to simply dine by himself, leave a tip, and leave without saying anything except to leave a small note with ‘thank you’ written on it. As of today, it marked the third day of week and the last day before he would be seen in the Italian restaurant again. While he sat alone in the far corner, he had minded his own business, not paying attention to those around him, he came to be served, and to have comfort before he ventured off again. Throughout the times he dined at the fine establishment, he spoken to the chef a few times, only exchanging what he thought of the food, and great it tasted. Today, something was absolutely off as chef walked up to him, pulling out the chair in front of him, and staring straight at him. The alien’s eyes immediately creased in confusion, mentally reminding himself to not feel any type of way at that moment, or color of his eyes would changed. “…I think I’m a good person. I think there’s a good in everyone.” The chef stated. “A good in everyone, you say?” Pryalis questioned, not wanting an answer from the chef. “I suppose that is true. However in my lifetime, I have not met much people who are good, or at least that is what they put on to show others, but perhaps they are good. I do not know what type of good it is, though.” The sudden statement from the chef caused his curiosity to roam. The chef and I have never spoken to each in such a way, he thought.
It was the third time in that week that the tall male showed up in Joonmyeon’s establishment. Just like in every other week of the year since he opened the restaurant, the stranger appeared there three times, ordered his meal and went away leaving a generous tip and a thanking note. However, the chef wanted to change the current situation— until now, he and the mysterious man only exchanged a few words about the food on the menu and which dish the customer should pick this time, but he wanted to know more about the other. Was it too invasive? He was sometimes too curious about people who went to his establishment, but he saw nothing wrong with that. Even his name was unknown, after all.
Spotting the stranger in the same table he usually sat by, Joonmyeon couldn’t help opening a smile. He was uneasy— what if he was an unpleasant person, someone who would rather not be bothered? He decided to approach the other anyway. With a friendly smile on his lips, he pulled the empty chair in front of the male and sat there, staring awkwardly at his for some seconds after making some random, vague statement.
Listening to the stranger’s reply, the chef nodded in agreement. Wise words he said. So it was a friendly customer, he noted mentally. “You are right, most people don’t show their good sides, sometimes just being mean to keep entertained instead.”, Joonmyeon was impressed that his random sentence was, as a matter of fact, much deeper than he planned it to be. “Good is relative, although we all know that good is... Good.”, he shrugged lightly, lips curved upwards, hoping thw conversation wasn’t being too weird to the other.
