“You’re here again?” Hanbin greeted from behind upon seeing the familiar figure of a dancer with the blonde, ironed flat hair. The male had one of his brows shot up while he wore a crooked smile which helped illuminate his dull features. His tone sounded disinterested, but for Momo, perhaps, it surely sounded friendly enough.
This was not the first time that Hanbin and Momo have met. It may be the exact place in the park’s playground and the same swing she had sat on, but it wasn’t in the same season and situations. Her hair wasn’t this bright either, it was dark brown. In fact, it was almost black that it camouflaged with the ebony sky that was embellished with seemingly the same stars that decided to come out tonight. Back then, fall was only approaching and both of them were still trainees of their respective companies, crawling their way and fighting against their own friends for a place beneath the spotlight. And now? They are official proclaimed idols who are members of the most popular rookies of today.
How much time has rapidly flown by? But here they are again.
Upon stuffing his hands into the front pockets of his coat, Hanbin then made his way towards the swings. Fortunately, the swing beside hers was empty, (the park in general is empty, anyway) so he was able to share the quietness with her. As he took claim of the swing, the chains of the seat crackled within the chilly air as he settled himself on it, feeling his own mass burden the big swing set. Then he glances at the woman before shifting his looks towards the hazy night sky.
“I hope you don’t get a stiff neck. Seems like you’ve been her for a while… ”
Momo had a habit of wandering off without say, but as she found her time to be taken up by schedules and practices she realized she didn’t even have time to be herself anymore. One thing Momo liked to do often is go to this one small park nearby and look up at the stars. She loved looking up at the stars because the fact that she is so small in the universe and all her struggles were so little, gave her hope.
“You’re here again?” She hears a familiar voice and she turns around to see an old friend whom she met , possibly in this exact same spot, so much time has passed she couldn’t remember.
She looks back up to the sky as the the older one takes a seat on the swing next to her. Breaking the silence, he says “I hope you don’t get a stiff neck. Seems like you’ve been her for a while… ”. Once he said this she stops for a second and tries to think about how long she has been here, it could have been for a few minutes or it could have been for an hour or so.
❛ You know, I haven’t seen you in a couple of months and that’s the first thing you say to me? ❜ She lets out a small laugh and rubs her neck ❛ it’s been a while, what brings you here? ❜
