Bruce sighed, carefully removing his glasses, placing them down on his desk, and letting them rest next to the vial of Pepper’s blood which was rolling precariously on the countertop. He watched for a moment as it slowed, eventually coming to a halt when it hit the base of his microscope. He debated picking it up and placing it somewhere a little more safe, but before he could, there was a knock at the large glass door of the lab. Of course, being clear, he didn’t need to ask FRIDAY who his visitor was. He smiled at Pepper, inviting her inside with a subtle wave of his hand, pulling a folder of notes towards himself in preparation. “Good evening.” He said, the moment she was within earshot. all too aware of the fact that he was still wearing his sweatpants and sweater from their morning yoga session. He had been too caught up in his research to change. “How was your day? Would you like some tea, I have some... somewhere.” He glanced over to where he usually kept his teabags, frowning slightly when he found they were no longer there. “Tony probably moved the box.” @rescue-49
