"Oh," Cynthia said, pointing at her with a grim smile, "Yeah, I feel you on that one. I keep photos with my parents in a separate folder. Not there but not deleted. I should definitely delete them."

"Do you maybe... want to just do it together?" Sienna suggested. Taking the jump of actually deleting the photos of her mother might be easier if she wasn't doing it alone, and she for sure wasn't about to ask Piper about that.

"I've gotten really hung up on a project," Piper admitted with a little shrug of her shoulders. "I can't seem to push through the creative block and I've been losing sleep over it."

"Can I help with it?" Sienna suggested. "I mean, at the very least I can be your sounding board."

"Probably not but it seems you've gotten away with it unscathed and without a lawsuit on your hands." Hunter responded with a grin of his own at the girls teasing. "Maybe keep it out of reach of the children though. Sometimes I think a bludger knocked the braincells out of a few of them."

Sienna let out a small laugh. "Considering I used to be the one throwing bludgers at people, that's a big possibility."

"If I've learned anything from therapy, the way you look like you're feeling tells me if isn't something stupid," Cynthia replied, smiling reassuringly, "We can get Thai, I'll call them up now. You know, if you wanna talk about what's bothering you, I'm here. I'm not just a roommate, I'm a friend."

"It's just some pictures with my Mom, should've deleted them a long time ago honestly," Sienna replied with a light shrug, trying to pretend that it wasn't a big deal.

"That's good, didn't feel like dealing with any paperwork today asking why my plant was clenched down on a man's hand," Sienna replied. "Though it may have been more pleasant for me depending on which hand you were thinking, and if it was your writing hand to have to explain why my plant was on your hand. Though I guess you could've charmed something to write for you."

"To be fair, there was more chance of me feeding a student to it than me putting my hand in it." Hunter answered with a little shrug of his shoulders. "I am not that bothered by my job that I have to feed myself to a carnivorous plant to get out of it."

"Feeding a student to it? Maybe I shouldn't've left the plant with you after all," she teased.

"Yes, of course," she nodded, reaching to her wrist to pull one off from a small collection that was intertwined with some of her bracelets. "I always care spares," Piper smiled lightly as she held it out to her sister. "Me? Ah, I haven't been sleeping well but it's fine. Happens sometimes," she insisted with a little wave of her hand.

"Are you sure?" Sienna asked. "You look really stressed. Do you want to talk about it?"

"If I've learned anything from therapy, the way you look like you're feeling tells me if isn't something stupid," Cynthia replied, smiling reassuringly, "We can get Thai, I'll call them up now. "Really, it's nothing," she insisted. She wasn't even sure how to explain her complicated feelings about her mother to herself, let alone to her roommate. "Just photos with my Mom, I should've deleted them a long time ago honestly."

"Sorry I didn't quite catch that," Piper replied tiredly to the other. She hadn't been sleeping well and it was rather obvious considering her usually much sunnier disposition. "Do you mind saying it again?" she asked, trying to bring up the energy to give the other a small smile.

"I was just asking if you had an extra hair tie, mine just broke," Sienna said, holding up her broken hair tie that snapped when she went to fix her hair. "Are you okay?"

"I'm just saying, that they shouldn't just leave things sitting around, some of these plants are dangerous. I know I'm one of the youngest there, but it's like I'm babysitting them."

"Oh?" Piper picked up on curiously as she looked at her younger sister. "And what exactly did they do to skip out on the hangover? Any tips I should hold onto for next event?"

"They didn't go," Sienna replied. "They did their own this at the apartment."

"Photos of what?" Cynthia asked, sensing something was off. She smiled, "Thank Merlin. I was totally thinking the same thing. What are you feeling like?"

"Nothing, just something stupid," Sienna replied, it was partly the truth. "Mmm, how about some Thai maybe?"

"I'm only stopping by with them. Her and James have different plans for the day so I thought I'd bring them round for cupcakes before I drop them with their grandmother."

"Oh, special Valentine's Day plans? I know this sounds weird saying this at this type of party, but I don't understand Valentine's Day at all."

"I s'pose so, yeah," Sienna replied. "Though I feel like I could've faired better if I had done something similar to what my roommate and her partner did. I wouldn't be so hungover."

Hunter waited patiently enough until the girl returned though he couldn't help but give a sarcastic answer when she asked him about how it had gone. "I had a wobbly moment there but somehow I resisted from putting my hand into the jaws of a man-eating plant." He answered with a smirk. "Lucky for you."

"I have been for ten minutes. I was thinking you weren't home it was so quiet," Cynthia said, stepping into the room a little, "Are you okay?"

"Yeah," she lied, though it wasn't too convincing. "Just looking through some photos. Do you want to do something for dinner? I was going to probably order something."

"You make it sound like some sort of money tree. What do you think someone is going to do to your plant?" Hunter asked with a little chuckle when she mentioned going to the restroom. "Go on though, be quick about it. Last time I checked my job description wasn't 'plant sitter'."

"I mostly don't want anyone to touch it, it bites," she replied. I mean, she's not full grown, but yeah. I trust you wouldn't touch it so yeah. Thanks! I'll totally be super quick." When Sienna returned she smiled. "I assume that everything went smoothly?"

Sienna was scrolling on her phone, looking at old pictures of her and her sister and her mother. It felt weird, her thumb hovered over the delete button and Sienna still couldn't find the courage to delete the pictures, even though they hurt as much as they did. She rolled over when she hurt footsteps passed her open bedroom door. "Hey, I didn't hear you get home," she said.
