Lucien’s jaw dropped. “That’s impossible. I’m not powerful enough to summon a god.” This was honestly the last thing he needed. He sighed. “He wasn’t sure if he could tell him the whole truth, so part of it might suffice. “I wasn’t trying to summon you. I was trying to summon a lesser demon.” His own magic was weak so he’d relied a lot on herbs to supplement his power just for this spell so he didn’t know how his call had reached the god. As for the demon, he’d been planning to kill the elder of his clan. He’d left awhile ago but left as they were currently, the Romani clan would continue cursing indiscriminately for personal gain. He’d been hoping to use the demon to create a weapon to kill the elder but with how much he was questioning things, he didn’t know if he’d even be able to go through with things.
