@davidkarofskyindie requested a starter from here featuring Ian Gallagher.
Ian was fairly far from impressed when volunteering at the free clinic. Not like he was entirely unfamiliar with this part of the job; dealing with repeat offenders never ceasing in getting themselves into trouble. He had seen enough of the self-destructive behaviour back before he had even become a paramedic as it seemed to be a south-sider's main mission to get themselves in as much trouble as humanly possible. Ian was no exception - naturally. He could act scornful and smug over his patients, but that didn't change the fact that he had easily bled out close to his body weight in blood over the years of throwing punches and taking hits.
"You know this would be easier if you cleaned up the grease stains before you get your ass beat," Ian frowned, tossing aside another cleaning wipe stained black and grey. The clinic wasn't exactly rolling in supplies and Ian was afraid he was going to run out before he even got to the medical part of the medical care. "Make it easer to patch you up before you go and wipe out again."
