“Zadie, I don’t care if this bride is paying a million dollars, if she pitched menu ideas like grilled cheese and sliders I’m out,” Devon stated simply, setting down two cups of coffee as he settled into one of the booths at DOUGLAS. Since the sudden and surprising popularity of his restaurant, Devon’s mind had been focused soles on his business. He spent hours in the kitchen cooking and creating new dishes, and time at the restaurant meant working out schedules and making food and drink delivery orders for the week. Catering was the last thing on his mind. But admittedly, Dev had never really been able to say no to the blonde before him.
