Parrish looked up from his desk and couldn't help but smirk the moment he saw Nick walk into the station. "We have got to stop meeting like this." He teased with a wink before standing up from his desk. He didn't know what they were to each other, friends, friends with benefits, boyfriends, or just two people enjoying the other's company. "You know, if you keep showing up like this, people are gonna start talking." He teased as he grabbed his coat off the back of his chair and walked over towards Nick. "People are gonna wonder if you'll make an honest man out of me." He teased with a smirk. "Also, hi."

Parrish had moved out of town a few years back. After he and Elie had broken up. It was more of a mutual thing, or he was had thought it was. But it had been hard for him to stick around and watch Elie move on with her life. He loved her more than he’d ever loved anyone and watching her move on was the worst thing he’d ever had to watch. So he gave his two weeks at the sheriffs station and was packed and gone at the end of his last day. He kept in touch, a few phone calls here and there, just so he didn’t lose touch with everyone in town completely. But as the years went on the less the calls were made. That was until he was called back to town five years later. Which brought him to this moment. Where he was standing and watching Elie playing and talking with a little girl. One who looked like he did at that age. It made his heart ache. He had always wanted kids or a kid. He cleared his throat before taking in a deep breath and pushing himself forward to go and see Elie. “Elie!” He called out to get her attention. “Hey.” He gave an awkward little wave.

Jordan couldn't help but smirk and let out a low chuckle at Kai's words. "Well that's too bad." He teased as he walked over towards the other. "Because I do enjoy biting and being bitten." He winked at Kai. "Especially if they are as good looking as you are." He added as he looked over Kai's form and nods to himself. "I guess I'll just have to find someone who will bite even when it's not called for."
