There was something so calming about the rain, something that reminded the old Alpha of a time before he'd changed into what he was. Sure, he was tied to the beast by bloodline, but he'd been a late bloomer and could recall how much he loved the rain. It diluted senses, made it harder to focus. Sounds, scents, sensations were all too different when the world turned gray and cloudy. Almost human, but still completely not.
He hadn't intended to find himself stuck out here with her, in fact he'd hoped to woo her a little at their destination but... Things don't go as planned. So here they sat, in the backseat of his car, rain keeping them in and fog slowly creeping up the tinted windows.
"Guess we really don't have the best of luck these days..." He chuckled, idly reaching for a strand of her hair to push behind her ear.
Maybe being stuck with Lia here wasn't too bad after all.

Robert had been doing so well in keeping his desires at bay with her, but being the type of beast he was, even he wasn't able to resist the pull of instinct deep within. They'd gone out on a supply run, leaving their hybrid pack to inspect further down the neighborhood while the waxing gibbous in the heavens illuminated the streets below. How close the full moon was... And how hot he felt underneath his collar.
The alpha closed the distance between them in the quaint little two-story home; abandoned from warmth and comfort that undoubtedly filled it to the brim long ago. His head cants to the side as that animalistic glint flashes over honey eyes, reaching out to her before he can even think. He takes her wrist, tugging her close and daringly stealing a kiss that he quickly tries to make deeper.
The wolf wants her and intends to get what it so desired.
