This is the most inappropriate place to approach her and ask for an autograph, he thought, nervously chewing on his thumbnail as he watched Kenzie Killmer walk across the courtyard of the charity event currently taking place. Variety was hosting their annual Power of Women event, and Adam had been privileged enough to be invited as a male ally as well as a presenter of an award.
As he watched Kenzie mingle amongst friends and other attendees, he couldn’t help but feel a bit starstruck. She was stunningly beautiful and had a glow about her that naturally made her stand out. Snapping himself out of his thoughts, Adam cleared his throat and released a breath again before finally stepping up to approach her. “Miss Killmer... Hi.” He grinned nervously, offering his hand. “I’m sorry to bother you. I just--” He scoffed. “I’ve been standing over by the bar for ten minutes, trying to talk myself into coming to ask you for an autograph for my daughter.” He licked his lips, wondering if his hands were visibly shaking. “She’s a huge fan.. W-we both are. Any time someone asks her what she wants to be when she grows up, she says your name.”
