Juri was taking a deep breath in his hiding place. Why was he living like this? Afraid of everything? The reality was Juri could die tomorrow or year from now. But what was the point if you couldn't live for today. He just needed to go out. Even if reality was hell, he still wanted to see Asher.

There was a familiar smirk when he saw Asher. Even at his most anxious there was something endearing about Asher. And Juri someday wanted to have that light in his life. So being coy, Juri took a flower crown from the stand before sneaking behind Asher. There was a giggle before he booped Asher's nose.

"Don't fear it's just grumpy ol' me." Juri signed with one hand. "I have something for you."

Zebadiah tried to not show his disappointment. He’d been thrown away by his master so the answer to that question-- he didn’t have it. "I-I...” He hesitated. “I don’t know, sir.”

Of course Juri had to ask TJ of all people to deliver flowers. But of course TJ, with a mouth bigger than the state of louisana, fucked it up. Flowers up his ass- TJ really was straight. There were probably a lot more he could have said in that phone call- but dumbass mall cop was enough for today. He'll kick TJ's ass another time.

No he had to focus on Asher Simmons. Asher "hot and cold" Simmons. He swears one moment he says he moved on and the next he says he keeps his books. The witch just remembered healing him that day and leaving promptly. Because he just couldn't bring himself to talk. Hence the flowers because he thought he fucked up.

Juri tried again, this time with Asher's favorite candy, sitting at the doorway. He debated just dropping it at the doorstep and run but he couldn't-because deep down he still cared about Asher. More than TJ, Briggs, and anyone else knew. He knocked on the door bracing for the worse.

"It's me." He said, letting his voice indicate who he was.

“You’re a damn fool coming to my realm, kitty cat.” He sat on his throne. “But I will spare you before they cut your tongue.” He snapped hisfingers and watch Bambi fall. It was sick but he had to pay for his miseeds. “Speak.”

Miyuri wasn't sure why her cousin couldn't deliver the ice cream. But knowing Nova, she rarely passed on her duties to her. So just this once she decided to deliver to do it. As the younger took off her motocycle helmet she knocked on the door. When she heard the door open she leaned against the wall.

"You Asher?"

Closed for @mccncreatures- Asher Nova sighed seeing Asher outside sitting on that bench. Nova checked her watch. It's been four hours. Nova might know everything about Asher, the lockwood or ingrid situation in depth. However Nova can tell Asher is upset. Nova took the time card and took the lunch break early.

"Personal reasons." Nova said before Dr. Braun could open his mouth. Nova grabbed the food and microwaved it quickly. The witch walked across the street with the food. The smaller sighed as she sat next to him.

"Sulking for four hours across the street from my workplace is cringe." Nova remarked trying to lighten up his mood. She took the spare spoon and gave it him. "At least eat something. Fried rice isn't fine dining but its better than the hospital food."

( Asher & Juri ) sender  gives  receiver  company  in  the  hospital .

Juri was hyperventalting on the hospital bed. Juri was wreathing on the bed from the nightmares. Juri felt a familiar touch as he stopped. Scared eyes looked at Asher with a slight grin. Juri gently grasped the hand and signed into Asher's hands. "Stay with me." Juri stopped and kissed Asher on the lips. "You'll always protect me right?"

One day Asher Simmons will be more than his protector. Asher Simmons will be his husband.

( Asher & Juri ) why are you so concerned about me ?

Juri paused as he tended to Asher's wounds. There was a look of surprise before he spoke.

"Asher." Juri said actually speaking. "No matter what you say to me, I will always care about you." Juri paused.

"Since I first saw you, I knew you were someone I needed to protect." The witch continued. "Whether it's romantic or not- I think I'll always care about you. Simple as that." Juri was quiet once more.

Juri gently pressed the wound on his cheek.

"The day you lose me is the day I die ." There was a finality in his tone. Something hard to change his mind.
