Alice had barely slept, or even slept at all really. She had done a bang up job of avoiding her room, not wanting to look at every face etched with grief and pity for her. Tucked away in tunnels and lurking in the library, but mostly hiding in the hospital wing, she didn’t say much, simply remained deep in thought. Although she could hear the voices in her head telling her that it would be unsafe to travel the grounds at night, that she was bound to get caught, Alice could not stay stagnant for long, needing the movement to keep herself feeling alive. Grabbing her hooded black sweatshirt, Alice tugged it on before starting her journey through the castle. Passage ways hidden behind tapestries allowed her to sneak around at night quite easily, but the only place she was concerned of getting caught was the viaduct hallway, where prefects often lurked. Making a mad dash to the door, Alice was able to slip outside into the Quad, breathing a sigh of relief. But she heard a rustle behind her only to turn around and see nothing. Looking forward again she walked hesitantly, heading toward the stairs to the boathouse, wand in hand, ready to attack if need be.
