❝ Sometimes the right thing for one person is the wrong thing for someone else. ❞ + heph nd dite cause i feel chaotique this afternoon
Hephaestus looked up for a brief moment. He didn’t want to have this conversation. Maybe he was stubborn and hurt, Hephaethus just didn’t want to talk about with...
“I don’t want to do this with Kai in the next room,” Heph replied. It was partially true. “She doesn’t know that much about what happened between us.” Heph looked down at his schematics again. Busy, busy, busy.
“If you’re worried I won’t do repairs for you, I always will. That’s my duty.” Heph was jumping topic to topic. He just couldn’t bring himself to reply to that sentence. He pulled the hairs of his beard, the thing Dite knew the god did in their marriage. The one when he didn’t want to be confrontational but he had something on his mind.
Sometimes the right thing for one person is the wrong thing for someone else.
He finally took a heavy breath, there was a tone of resignation. Heph should at least tell her something. For at least, the sake of their once union.
“It isn’t the problem of right or wrong.” Because Hepn knew he did some horrible things too. “It’s about trust and respect.” He muttered. Heph heard Kai calling in the next room. A sad but relieving call. He looked at her one more time.
“Can we talk another time, I’m busy Dite.” He said trying his best not to sound as upset as he was. It brought back old feelings again. The deity knew that Aphrodite usually hated that when they needed to talk. That’s one of the many reasons why they never worked.
“You’re always busy.”
The fire god bit his lips, one of the few times Heph looked almost regretful in the conversation.
“I know.”
