Terrible Things || Ly and Grace
A million things ran through Lysander's mind as he approached that door. He could remember the first time he ever walked up to it. The youngest boy had come out and threatened him, making Sander feel small inside. But that soon cleared up when an angel walked out that door. They were just friends then, hanging out like anyone else would. They wanted to know each other and so taking her to a party with some friends seemed like a great idea. The feeling of her hand wrapped around his quite larger one was something that still made him shudder. He recalled telling her that he knew she liked him, and then she actually did. She seemed to trust him with her heart as he did for hers.
Sander could also remember the last time he was here. She asked him here and by the way she sounded somewhere inside of him knew what she was about to do. They didn't work, he was told. She didn't trust him. So many things happened that Lysander still thought about. Could he had changed her mind if he tried? Probably not, all he wanted was for her to be happy. If that wasn't with him then so be it.
Now, as he walked up to that elegant door, Sander's heart was in his stomach. He needed to see her face, make sure the rumors were just that. Rumors. So when her sister answered the door, a sneer on her face until she noticed who he was. He asked if she was home, if she could step outside. Victoire had disappeared back in the house after an apologetic nod to get her and Sander could give her a couple of points back. Maybe one day she'd be good enough for his brother. But that wasn't why he was here, he was here for her. For Grace Lahey to shed some light on the situation. The only confirmation he'd take was from her.
