open to: males plot: mia comes out of her boyfriend’s room at the dead of night in huge white shirt and she’s trying to make herself a cup of coffee when she meets the roommate. she doesn’t realize it’s actually his shirt

Mia was reaching for the cups above the sink and despite the multiple times she had suggested to just move them in a better place her boyfriend and his roommate never did. So here she was on the tips of her toes reaching for the cup until she finds another hand reaching for the cup. She almost yelps in surprise because she didn’t anyone would be awake so she assumed the worst. The tiny woman was ready to pounce as she turned around but realized it was the roommate. “You scared me!” She let out a heavy sigh before grabbing the glass from his hands and making herself a cup of coffee. Her addiction to caffeine knows no bounds but her attention was drawn back to the other who seemed to have something to say about what she was wearing, “Oh yeah? You got something to say about it?”

open to: anyone plot: mia is a nurse and she’s trying to cheer your muse up who’s been stuck in bed for so long.

Mia had heard stories from other nurses that the patient had been grumpy and terrible from the start. They would pass the tasks to each other and dreaded going into their room. As the ball of sunshine and stubbornness, the young nurse was determined to get their hopes up. So when everyone was busy and she had free time, she entered the room with a bright smile and her phone playing music. She was swaying her hips and checking on their vitals, “Hi! Just gonna check on your vitals.”

16 hour shift at the hospital wasn’t new with mia but what was definitely shocking was that she forgot her keys inside of the apartment. her roommate had her boyfriend over and knew that it was going to be hours until she checks her phone and finally let her in. she was so close to calling the building’s attendant but thought otherwise because it’ll be dent to her paycheck. on the floor, slumped over, and hands nursing her sleepy head. she heard someone speak up and the next thing she knew she was staring at her neighbor who she had the longest crush on. “sorry?” ( @swords-before-words​ )

She hadn’t realize until this exact moment how she felt for the other. Her heart was racing, palms sweaty, and her mouth went dry as she watched them so engrossed in what they were doing. They were passionate about what they were doing and at first she thought it was just admiration but as she saw the glimmer in their eye. That was it. She was done. They’ve captured her heart so quickly and so swiftly that she hadn’t even noticed. She was in love with them. “I’m so fucked.” Did I just say that out loud?

“wait- so you do like her.” mia grinned at the other and felt a pang in her chest. jealousy, jealousy. she wasn’t the type to get jealous at all and she didn’t even know she actually liked them. she didn’t have the time to sort out her feelings when she spends half her time in the hospital. so hearing the other admit it had her feeling all sorts of emotions. “no but seriously? like is it a like-like situation or is it wanna get to know her type of like.” and she’s hoping to god that they chose none of it.

mia had been on her feet the whole day. dealing with patients, writing charts, and codings. she was exhausted but she still had things to do at home. as she was preparing dinner for two, she felt a pair of arms snake around her waist and gave her a tight hug. she could burst into tears with that simple hug. all her frustration and exhaustion was slowly escaping her body the longer they held her. “thank you.” her voice small as she took a break from her cutting vegetables. Mia came in running in her nurse scrubs and her hair a tousled mess. “Putangina naman.” She cursed under her breath as she almost slipped running into the other’s hospital room. She received a text message that her ex was in the hospital and anxiety that washed through her. She didn’t know what it was or what had happened but she still cared about them. So without a second thought, she flew in and immediately grabbed the chart that was hanging off of the other’s bed. “What the hell happened to you?” ( @endlessstxrs​ )
