“A U.S. Air Force Military Air Transport Service Douglas C-74 Globemaster (s/n 42-65414) on the ground at RAF Gatow during the Berlin Airlift in 1948. This aircraft was the only C-74 used during Berlin Airlift. It flew a total of 25 missions and carried 446 tons of supplies. 42-65414 was later scrapped at Davis-Monthan Air Force Base, Arizona (USA), in 1965.” (Royal Air Force)
