There were many people, though it didn't really change anything deep down within her, since she was accustomed to being surrounded by many back in Akihabara.

...This isn't Akihabara... It was what that weird man on the TV said...Umm...Hive-City...? What was he talking about with this social experiment...?

She was frightened... and seemed to be alone in this city... Where was she...? Was this one of the failure experiments...? Or was this an alternate time her childhood friend...'Okarin' was talking about with Kurisu-chan? No...this can't be... Nothing of this place seems familiar at all either... Was this the world that was ruled by the so-called SERN organization? Nothing seemed to piece together into that small mind of hers. All these discussions of 'alternate timelines' and 'Beta timelines' were so advanced and out of academics for someone like her. She walked and walked aimlessly through the streets of Hive-City searching for answers, hoping someone would answer her or at least spot her out of the ordinary. Usually Mayuri was the adventurous and optimistic type, but... none of her friends are here...

Wait...! Maybe if she sent a text message to them-....! She reached into her pocket and pulled out her cellphone. What...? It's candy... Oh no, Mayuri doesn't have her trusty cellphone anymore either...
