Character name: Mayuri Shiina
Brief biography:
Mayuri is the childhood friend of Rintarou Okabe. She’s a 16 year old girl who lives in Akihabara; Japan and works part time in the maid cafe-restaurant called May Queen Nyan-Nyan. Also a second year student in a university-preparation school. She also has some knowledge of modern-day anime, as well as being aware of doujinshi merchandise across Akihabara, and loves to make cospaly costumes and dress her friends, including herself up. She loves to collect little toy figurines and plushies called Oopa’s.
She also loves to make nicknames for her friends, and her friendly personality, shes acquainted and friends with many people across Akihabara. Often calling herself in 3rd person “Mayushii” And her childhood friend “Okarin” and his friend “Daru”.
Mayuri is one of the lab assistants of her childhood friend, Rintarou and partakes in many of his useless yet crazy experiments and often playfully goes along with it until… one day he figures out a way to send text messages into the past using a microwave…

It was a little past noon… The day’s shift was over for little Mayushii as she packed her wig, maid outfit, and cat ears back into her locker in the back dressing room. For a short while she chatted with the other employees in the back whom were also getting off their daytime shift, and then she left outside into the streets of Akiba.
Hmm…ah! I remember, I should go buy a Doujinshi…
The girl thought to herself and smiled. Though that means she would be a little late to arrive at Okarin’s lab to make some lunch for him…Hmm…She placed a finger on her lip and looked up towards the sky and thought for a while… Though she did leave some leftovers in the fridge upstairs so maybe if the members got a little hungry they can eat that… But she won’t be gone for long, maybe around…just 30 minutes late? It’s not like Okarin would really pay attention if she was only a little late anyways.
She quickly pulled out her cellphone and sent a text message to her childhood friend; Okarin, letting him know that she would be a little late to the lab.

She closed her phone and put it back in her pocket and walked off into the streets, getting ready for another day at at the Future Gadget Laboratory of Houuin Kyouma. But first… A little stop at Tora no Ana~!
