Tegul (Shelter) [Closed: Apartment P-2 // rainbowdashie and sergeant-farron]
Following the instructions she had been given to the letter, Kida was in the industrial sector, feeling utterly out of place in the concrete jungle. Where she was used to seeing blue sky, verdant green and fish beyond number, there was grey, grey, and slow-moving people. Feeling somewhat disheartened, she entered the apartment complex, taking in the technology around her. Some of it, like the lighting, was similar to what she knew in Atlantis, but the doors that moved without touching were strange to her.
She entered the metal box that promised to take her to a chosen room - she found the letter P and touched it, and was startled a little by the clang she heard as the doors closed. The box began to rise, and after the initial jolt, moved slowly. As it rose, she looked at her face in the glass on the far side of the moving box; she stared at the dark, tattooed face, the stark white hair, the clothing that left her midriff bare and the sarong at the hips that covered her thighs. She frowned at the wooden joke of a spear she had been given as the doors opened. She hurried out and looked into the room she had been sent to.
"Yadlu gohnikh!" She exclaimed in wonder. Staring at the soft furnishings and the strange appliances, Kida found herself utterly bemused by the style of this place. She looked about and wondered where the fireplace was, where the hunting spears were kept... She continued to look around and found a door emblazoned with her name. Looking though it, she found... was that a chair? And what was that strange thing in the corner that looked like a window? And that? And then...
The bed. The bed was huge.
Taking a moment to sit on it, Kida marvelled at its softness. She would enjoy returning to it at the end of the day. But until then, what to do? Kida stood, spear in hand, and returned to the living room. Presently, she heard footsteps, and then... the door opened. Instinctively, she lunged forward, spear pointed directly at the source of the sound.
"Getanos!" she cried, "Intruder!"
