Jade looked over to him. A little sigh and an eyebrow raise were her initial reactions. "Well Mayson," she spoke as helpful to the little boy as she could, "That might have something to do with playing with the unicorn with sticky hands. What sort of arts and crafts did you get into at school today? You should wash your hands. Then they and your toys won't be sticky. It's good to be hygienic."

He sighed. Callum likes kids if he’s being honest. Maybe he’ll have them someday but right now this is beginning to irritate him. “It’s a bad thing for someone your age to ask about. Now I’m calling your parent.”

Natalie took one look at the source of this question and started to laugh. Who is teaching them these days anyway? He is so serious too. “It means you can’t hack it when things get messy,” she gave a blunt answer without any explanation. “But you kid. You’re not supposed to be in here by yourself.” 

She’ll get Gloria to handle him. Kids aren’t exactly Natalie’s forte or thing.

“Flying spaghetti monster?” Who told him such a thing existed? Is this another human myth? She extended a hand out to the YK800. “There is no such thing,” she assured, placing a hand to his cheek. Her LED flickered. The touch she offered was gentle. A kind of gentleness she herself was not used to but the child android stirred that instinct inside of her. “Even if there was I will keep it away from you. It will be easy. Monsters always are slayed by good. And good always protects the innocent.” 

Stefani smiled. “Which is you.”

Oh so he’s still wandering around here. Did she not get Gloria to handle this kid already? Where the hell is she?! 

“Hobo Daddy is your lowlife father who doesn’t pay child support.” Natalie crossed her arms. “Now where is your daddy? Because you need to get going.”

Mayson walks up behind Callum and smiles at Ava and Callum. "Hi mom, you know him? He's nice. His house is cool and bed is so soft!"

Callum stumbled a bit when she ran into him. He straightened himself, opening his mouth to answer but then it happened. He inhaled sharply. The boy’s voice is all too familiar. When he cuts a glance back he sees the same strange kid that has been in his house. But he literally does a double take at what he says to his mother. “Oh no. I don’t think so. Is this your son? I’ve been looking for his parents. Anybody. He keeps breaking into my house. Like it’s Godilocks and the Three Bears.” He wanted to tell her to put a leash on her kid but he can’t be that mean. He isn’t that mean. Shit! “He’s gotten past my security. So please. Take him and do something?”

Callum nearly fell. Sliding in the tub, he collided with the tiles. His head struck the wall but he managed to steady himself. All of a sudden he had the urge to sneeze. The worst he’d get would be some shampoo potentially flying into his eyes. Little did he expect a voice and one that sure is out to get him. 

He reached out for the curtain. Taking just a small peek from behind it, making sure he was completely hidden still, Callum blinked down at the boy. A familiar boy. A boy who keeps popping up asking him unsavory questions. 

“What are you doing in my house? How did you get in? I’m calling your parents!”
