She was about to retort, to shove the other back before her own frame was knocked back slightly, brows furrowing deeply as dark irises fell on a familiar frame pushing between her and the other. Her heart raced against her chest as the other dragon moved forward away from her, forcing the other back with each step before her digits fell against the male's arm and gave a light tug in attempts to stop him. "Sebastían," Leyla spoke, voice firm as she tried to garner his attention before stepping in front of him, hands falling against his chest. "Seb, please, he's not worth it. Let's just- Let's go home. Please, take me home?"

Brows dip as she glances up from her laptop, confusion written on her features as she tilts her head to the side ever so slightly. "I-what do you mean," Leyla questions, heart sinking in her chest before she shakes her head and offers a slight chuckle. "I mean yeah, duh, I know that. We're best friends."

It wasn't unusual for the pair to dance together considering they had been raised pretty much side by side and inseparable from a very young age but something about the atmosphere surrounding them tonight was different. She had long since fought down her feelings for her best friend, had traveled the world just to make it easier to do so but now- now it was almost impossible and being within such close proximity with him, his touch lighting her skin on fire and his eyes drowning in her own, she hadn't even noticed that the song had ended. Their breaths fell against each other softly, her heart thudding against her rib cage as butterflies fluttered nauseatingly within her stomach. A faint smile tugs against her lips as their noses brush lightly against each other and then her gaze drops to his lips. How she'd dreamed of a moment like this with him and all too soon her mind was pulling her from the moment, clearing her throat as she turns her features away and takes a small step back. "Uh, thank you, f-for the dance," Leyla speaks softly, nervously, mouth suddenly very dry. "I uhm, I should go find Riley o-or Briggs or something. A drink- I need a drink."
