A young Queen Evelyn was roaming about the castle this morning in attempts to find her husband. After unsuccessfully bringing an heir to their kingdom, the Queen had fallen into a spout of sadness but seeing the strain it was bringing to their people, she could only find enough strength in herself to find her betrothed and convince him to do something...against the rules. “My king..I’m sorry.” She entered into his study and closed the door behind her, completely ignoring the knights outside the chamber. Walking over the sweet girl took hold of his hands and she looked into his eyes. “I’ve...I’ve not been a good wife to you, I know that and I’m sorry.” She was failing as Queen, and with the old King dead and his terrible reputation...she knew that her husband was nothing like him but if she failed to provide heirs or be a good Queen she didn’t know what her fate might hold. “I’m prepared to make things right...between us and for our kingdom. If..if you still want me that is.”
