“Your eyebrows aren’t singed off,” A.J. greeted his friend with a distant voice, but it was anything but uncaring. Worried, nervous, relieved. Those were words that better described the feelings bubbling within him. But that was the thing about friendship; sometimes, he wondered if Ted understood him better than he understood himself.

Molly whirled around the kitchen, checking the status of her baking, putting the kettle on, and essentially doing anything to keep her mind off the growing tension outside the walls of The Burrow. “I appreciate you coming over like this, dear. I— well I haven’t much left the house these days but I wanted to make sure you didn’t need anything— you or your family.”

Florence had been floating through her days for the better part of a week when she ran into Ted. She smiled brightly at the sight of him, “Teddy!” She exclaimed. “Where have you been hiding?” She teased.

Florence was making her rounds, greeting and thanking everyone for attending. They hadn’t started the tour yet. The opening presentation was a success, and the ministry had suggested a cocktail hour before the tour, which Florence thought was dangerous, but she was in no position to refuse yet. Spotting Ted in the crowd, she made her way toward him happily. “Teddy!”
