where: the woods who: mason + andy (+ten)

Pandora was glad for the longer days, most of the time she spent in her garden or pottering about the apiaries and chicken coop but today was one of the quieter days so she had decided to go to the woods near her house to do some foraging. "You're coming with?" she smiled down at Ten who had apparently decided to keep her company, "You better not bring another bird home from your little hunt" she tutted the cat. Andy was glad to have his company, Ten had joined her on her trips to the woods before and she was glad her trusted companion was smart enough to find his way home if they went their separate ways.

Once in the woods, Andy started to head to the wild garlic patch she'd spotted last week, glad that Ten was still at her heel, even if she knew that won't last long. Which she was right, as soon as they got to the clearing and she started picking the herb, the cat started to sneak further. Andy looked back and saw Ten chasing a butterfly somewhere further into the woods, with a shake of her head Andy let him run off, a smile tugging at her face as she got back to her work.

Kai was finding this new town interesting, at the very least it wasn’t Portland and it wasn’t dull ass Mystic Falls, hell that wasn’t even on the map anymore from what he knew. Which in all honesty he thought was a nice sense of justice and this town was full of ignorant humans, following one outside of the bar into an alley it didn’t take much for Kai to overpower them and get a nice evening snack. Compelling some silence, no one wants crying while trying to eat dinner, “Dinner theater isn’t really my thing but I you’re doing it wrong my man.”

Querido Mason:

Es increíble la manera en la que funciona el destino, ¿no crees? Te ha traído a la universidad, y finalmente he encontrado a una persona que me resulta diferente a los demás. No me mal entiendas, he llegado a hablar con muchos de por aquí, pero ninguno logró captar por completo mi atención. Quisiera poder reunir el valor suficiente para hablarte, pero por ahora lo haré por medio de cartas. Nunca sabes cuándo puede estar esa persona contigo, o mejor dicho, el día en el que finalmente nos veremos cara a cara. Por ahora soy un admirador secreto, un ente qué ha decidido observarte desde la sombras. Todo es tan complicado, aunque muchos podrían decir qué es sencillo ir a hablarle a alguien.

Benedetti dijo alguna vez lo siguiente: “Los sentimientos son inocentes como las armas blancas.” No hablaré de sentimientos, porque ni siquiera conozco por completo mi psique. Pero de algo estoy segura, compartimos muchas cosas en común. Ya sea el amor por la ciudad de París, o beber una buena taza de café por la mañana. Sí, he estado informándome antes de plasmar cada una de las siguientes líneas en la carta. Tengo un par de dudas, y me gustaría irlas resolviendo a lo largo del tiempo.

¿Qué te hizo venir hasta acá? ¿Por qué no escoger París para estudiar? ¿Crees en el amor a primera vista? Esa última es para comprobar  una hipótesis: París los vuelve apasionados, algo así como amantes incomprendidos. Perdona tanta curiosidad, pero soy alguien que ha dejado de creer en el amor. Muchos me llaman insensible, yo prefiero autodefinirme “realista”. El mundo no siempre es de color rosa, eso lo he aprendido a lo largo de los años. He ido a París, y me enamoré por completo; pero debo decir qué de eso ya ha pasado mucho tiempo.

Debo decirte adiós, no sin antes dejarte algunas palabras:

Soñar en teoría, es vivir un poco, pero vivir soñando es no existir.

Se vale soñar, ¿no? Deja volar esa hermosa imaginación tuya, me encantaría leerte.
