“Speaking from experience?” She smiled before shrugging, taking a quick look back at the door she came from. “One can only hope, she seemed pretty deserving of it, being yelled at by tipsy dickheads. Maybe being intoxicated will make them loosen their wallets, maybe it’ll make them unconscious before they get the chance? Who knows.” The way he said it, combined with the weirdly strong aura she got from him (well… as far as she could tell, it was weird), made her wonder exactly what she had gotten herself into by agreeing - surely he couldn’t be that bad? She had to admit she was surprised by the offer of his hand, he didn’t seem like an affectionate person but maybe she was wrong? “Screw it,” Nicola chewed her lip as she glanced at his outstretched hand, hesitating only for a second before taking it, deciding to throw caution to the wind. “Bad influences are more fun anyway.” Ouch, another reminder that she really should be staying sober. “You don’t seem very dumb to me, Kai, though I totally see the overconfident part.” Kai seemed nice enough, at least to her, and if she was being naïve then so be it - she’d deal with the consequences, whatever they may be. “Hey, I’m putting my dignity in your hands here. If I wake up tomorrow on the bathroom floor with my drunken antics splashed over social media, I’m totally blaming you. I’ve been there way too many times in the past, someone else can take the hit for once.” She used her shoulder to nudge his arm, the closest thing she could reach after realising she couldn’t use her hand since he was kind of holding it.
Kai shakes his head slightly, “Nah, not really just assuming from what I’ve seen in movies about crowded bars.” It wasn’t as if he had a lot of experience being in jammed packed places but he does like to think people went more unnoticed with the large groups of people or maybe it was the fact that no one could point fingers when it was so crowded. With his hand stretched out he wondered if she would take it, in a way it was his own private test. If she took it, it spoke volumes and it also granted him the ability to feel with his own hand the magic she held. There was something about her, some dark aura that drew him in and had him hold that attention on her. With the soft small hand landing his, he closed his hand around hers, gentle like, only enough to usher her with him. The spark he felt under her skin, wasn’t enough to tell him witch but there was enough there that had he needed to channel magic it was there. She was something. He offers a brighter smile, “There’s always something a little alluring about being bad.” He agrees with her, though he sensed his level of bad was far out weighing compared to hers. He laughs, “I love social media as much as the next but I don’t post pictures of people who don’t want them out, I’m a lot of things but not that bad.” It was one thing taking a life here and there but posting pictures that aren’t preapproved, that was another level. “Besides one on one kind of things should be in the moment.” He had assume people hated when a phone was in another’s face while they were trying to spend time together, he gathered that much from Luke’s traits. “Though, in return I have to ask you don’t shame me for my place. I got some...classics around and its well its a guys place so...”
