he was left alone once he and yoori arrived to the hotel. he said his goodbyes as if he wouldn’t see her again, but part of him felt like it was the right thing to say during that moment. something that tied to everything else from his past and kihyun felt a short moment of relief as the elevator doors divided them for one last time. after leaving his things at his room, he sits with his phone in his hands, starring at the screen with octavia’s messages displayed. they had been planning to meet ever since the invitation arrived to everyone in cheongnam. he couldn’t help but feel nervous being around people he had history with (history he wishes to forget) and be with someone he actually likes. he doesn’t want her to tie into his past and he only hopes she doesn’t want to see him anymore if something ever does come out.

he could not help but smile as he sent the messages. every little thing he does involving her brings a smile to his face, even if it’s sending a simple good morning text. smitten he is, and he really isn’t afraid to show it. there were many things kihyun regretted and one of them is hiding his true feelings for someone. there were some things that could never be changed, but if he could be different now, then he is going to take that chance. octavia is someone special to him and he isn’t going to let her pass him by without giving it his all.
