“Oh-- I wasn’t really expecting a visitor,” the words were half mumbled, he honestly should have retired to his chambers hours ago but there was a faculty meeting later that he needed to attend to he was currently surviving solely on coffee.

Regulus wasn’t exactly stuck to only talking with those in his house, politics demanded he socialize with the more neutral houses. Still he didn’t really bend the rule of not having positive interactions with the house of lions. Sometimes it couldn’t be avoided though and not sitting in the seat Slughorn had assigned him for this meeting of the so called Slug club wasn’t a real choice. “So, miss Evans, are you enjoying this evening?” Being polite was necessary in this setting. No matter how much he disliked these meetings it was a gathering of those who could one day be rather important in their world.
“The way I see it there are two options,” Regulus sighed, taking a sip of his coffee. “Either I never speak of the war or I just be extremely open about the fact I was once a Death Eater and I betrayed Voldemort. I’ve simply decided to do the latter because I want to foster a trust between me and my students so they might actually approach me should they need help. They’d talk about it even if I didn’t anyways.”
“I can’t believe they’re making us get together.” (Regulus)
“It seems fairly obvious to me,” he said, tone not giving away how he felt about this. Honestly after Sirius left he had known this would happen though the person they picked was surprising.
I’ve been planning a Ravnica campaign, so have a break down of which guilds my muses fall into.
The Orzhov Syndicate is actually home to most Blacks as while they aren’t really religious people or actually particularly interested in banking they are a group of people who are absolutely okay with doing less than legal things for the sake of their own power and wealth. Orion, Walburga, Cygnus, and Narcissa are all in some way shape or form a member of this guild. Regulus is technically also a member but his true guild is House Dimir.
The Cult of Rakdos has only one member of the Black family, Bellatrix. Who joined because quite honestly she enjoys it far more than she would any other guild.
The Azorius Senate is home to Lucretia and Alphard, with both of them performing drastically different jobs within the guild.
Sirius was without a guild for awhile but he eventually joined the Boros Legion
Cedrella and Andromeda both found their way to the Selesnya Conclave.

“Leave him out of this,” Regulus glared at his brother. For all he did to avoid the shouting matches his sibling got in with their mother he’d yell for days if it was defending Kreacher.
