-Visander and Phillip were so funny and made the book so enjoyable while I was having a short lasted hatred for Will bc of the thoughts he was having 😭🙏 but it's ok I love him again

^ Genuinely the scene of Phillip proposing to Visander was some of the funniest shit ever

^ Also I hope nothing bad ever happens to Visander, Phillip, and Elizabeth

^ I also need whatever c.s pacat was on when she was like okay let me make this grandpa ass champion of the old world inhabit a pretty princesses body and be forced to marry this stubborn fashionista

-CYPRIAN DRINKING FROM THE CUP WAS NOT ON MY LIST WHAT THE FUCK I HATE THAT STUPID ASS CUP. Will feeling so utterly betrayed at it was not on my list either and it hurts

-The way people were treating James ESPECIALLY at the beginning of this book was so disgusting

-I don't know if this is unpopular bc a lot of people seem to like him but am I the only one that doesn't like Sarcean like putting a collar on someone and chaining them up like an object is not romantic 🩷 hope this helps 🩷 don't get me wrong I kind of hate the lady too but Sarcean is causing too much problems 😞💔

-Visander and Devon's reunion was so awkward rip also loved to see a bloody baddie in a ripped dress

-THE HAND IS SO HOT I CAN'T HOLD MY PEACE. Her and Ettore were such cool side characters

-I needed more of Violet and James interacting tbh but I don't think I'll ever see a civil interaction between my favorite group of 4 again ☹️

There's a lot of other thoughts I had but let me just talk about that ending. I genuinely thought from the fanarts that it was just gonna be like Will put the collar on James and I was gonna despise him for that and for doing it out of nowhere and everyone was gonna learn who he was and kick him to the curb and then take over the world hooray

Half of that happened and when the other half didn't happen it was so much more devastating.. WILL BELIEVING JAMES LOVED HIM FOR WHO HE WAS AND TRUSTED HIM THAT WHOLE TIME ONLY TO REALIZE THE COLLAR WAS PUT ON HIM AND IT WASN'T GENUINE AND JAMES PROBABLY WOULD HAVE BEEN JUST AS SHOCKED WHAT IN THE WHAT 😭💔 I'm going to be thinking about my poor Will and how awful and alone he's feeling rn until book 3 is released my heart is shattered

I’m getting a lot of people on my feed going insane over the fact that dr3 doesn’t even have a title yet let alone a release date.

So, as someone who read dr two months after it came out and had to do the waiting the first time, let me tell you all some tips on how to deal with the emptiness.

Lose your mind to the point where you become numb

Cry with other dr fans

Forget abt the series for a bit then pay the consequences of next month having a whole hyperfixation about it and rinse and repeat

Hyperfixate on a certain set of characters and gaslight yourself into believing this will make time go by faster

Indulge in fan content… For the twelfth time.
