i feel like i should just know this from canon tbh! erm. in a domestic setting: peter is annoyed by ali constantly tweeting all the cute/stupid/annoying things he says and does. he would definitely change this if he could and has probably tried to Pull Strings to get his account suspended. ali is annoyed when peter seems to love his dogs more than his husband, or borrows his massive jumpers and looks adorable in them
26) How do their friends feel about their relationship? Their families?
everyone is massively intimidated tbh bc they are the ultimate shadowy power couple. or they used to be. now they’re just the ultimate grumpy uncles in baggy jumpers who have all the gossip and are always down to talk shit about anyone
39) Who initiated the relationship? Who kissed who first? When did they realize they were in love?
ahh well *leans back swillin vodka in a mug* this all depends on what universe we’re in. i tend to default to “they got together in the early 80s, having met through fiona as friends” in which case... tbh fiona did half the work in getting them together. helping ali work through the realisation that ok maybe he’s not as straight as he thought. persuading peter that he’s a nice guy, really. bashing their heads together until they finally broke the unbearable belligerent sexual tension in a moment of simultaneous weakness.
they both realised they were IN LOVE, like in a way they hadn’t appreciated before, when ali had his breakdown. like, “oh shit, we’re not bailing. we’re still together, after all that. I guess we’re stuck with each other forever then.”
