CRK Timeline of Fate, Episode 5 (some spoilers!)

Hi!

Partially through the story, I'm liking it so far, and I've played a good bit of the different event/games. So here's a misc collection of screenshots and ramble!

Adding a cut like normal so people can skip it they don't wanna read. This is just for fun so don't take anything I say super seriously

Now I just wanna know what else Pitaya would talk about while drunk, feeling like it would either be extremely embarrassing or something else.

First of all, Ananas can't interact with kids that aren't Mango Cookie XD then again they still might end up becoming the cool entle but who knows

Secondly, Lotus Dragon Cookie mentioned! Nice to know my joke ramble about Lotus ripping Pitaya a new one for not telling them that they had found another flower dragon might come true /j

Gonna have to split this into 2 parts since I can only put 10 pics and have more to ramble about. Shouldn't take long but still, don't cross your fingers (if anyone who reads this wants a part 2)

All of this is said in a jokey ha-ha way, tone is just a pain to get across in text format.

I mean we all knew the beasts were gonna find out, but it's a little funny how shocked they are:

Like, we all played Silent Salt's chapter right? Saw the Kala namak knights all be crumbled? How Earthbread was descending into chaos because of them?

How are any of them surprised that Silent Salt, aka Salt of Solidarity, decided to stop them? XD

Anyway:

Rest in pieces you blue pain in the ass! : D (/j /lh) realistically SM probably isn't dead but still, this looks so damn cool!

Silent Salt you absolutely legend!

I still am curious where White Lily cookie is though, because in an Instagram post where she is called 'the seeker of freedom' followed up with Silent Salt with the text 'and the one who stands with her' so the two are clearly working together. The only other time she is mentioned is by Mercurial Knight when PV asks about her.

I think it's a safe guess that she might have a plan and Silent Salt is likely involved.

idk though it's almost midnight and I'm tired, I didn't mean to go into a white lily ramble but it's here now.

Minor spoilers for Convergence of Fates!

This isn't going to be super long but I'm probably going to split it up into two parts because I really want to talk about the Dough trio and I have a lot to say about them. So for the sake of having some form of order, I'm going to talk about them in part 2.

Housekeeping: - Grammar is still a little dead here but realistically my grammar in the past hasn't been bad, I just don't care enough since it still makes sense. - Again: This post will be pretty much all spoilers, I don't cover any of the big story beats other than one or two moments but still better safe than sorry. - Any opinion I give is just that: An opinion, and I'm probably joking anyway. - something something there's a cut so I don't annoy anyone just browsing the tags something something. - Also I'm not tagging every single cookie that appears.

And that's about it, thanks for reading and hope everyone else is enjoying the update!

Before we even touch the story! White lily cookie is still m.i.a even in the raid, so that's great!

Next the whole 'Prophet of knowledge' thing from my last post? ya straight up just a translation thing. Oops. (To be fair I should have figured that out myself before I even posted it but I type as I think and I just didn't clock it.)

Now on to the story which opens with: Vehicular cookieslaughter.

When I say I was wheeze laughing when this happened, I was.

Cause who the fuck expected PV to come out of nowhere and just charge into SM with a fuckin' airship?! (clearly shadow milk didn't)

Swinging back round to the whole 'Prophet of knowledge' thing, which was literally just PV taking SM's place in an illusion.

This entire sequence had me saying "I don't know" over and over, and I loved it! It nails home the point SM is trying to make and watching PV try to understand was so well done! Truth and lies are always connected and can't work without the other, a world without one of them would be a mess and this entire segments nails it.

I ended up choosing to tell the truth, cause the cookie had more or less clocked the truth so my reasoning was that "He already knows so might as well rip the plaster off" even though part of me really wanted to lie I still did it and uuuh...

oops? again? eh, outcome probably would have been the same if I had chose to lie. (PV's Fount of Knowledge outfit is very pretty by the way.)

Shadowvanilla shippers eat up!

Skipping ahead a bit to Pitaya showing up and just:

Black Sapphire getting him and Candy Apple out of there cause, ya, they probably can't do much to help here.

Then there's Shadow Milk.

On a lighter note!

Did I say lighter? I meant I'm gonna have a scrap with Mystic Flour cookie I swear! (Poor Crunchy Chip though, I think this is the first proper casualty we've seen too.)

Good thing Mystic Flour becomes a lightning rod! :D

CRK Beyond the Horizon Ramble! (Part 1)

EDIT (24/3): so this wasn't meant to be posted yet. Too late now I guess, stay tuned for updates on this post

I have no clue how long this will be. I want to talk about everything because holy shit, I loved this update. There are a few parts I'm a bit iffy about but generally I loved it!

I want to try and actually give my thoughts and feelings constructively rather than me just throwing words on here and leaving them because, at least from what I've seen, the fandom is a little divided on it. I know negative voices can be louder than positive so I thought I throw my own thoughts in.

These are obviously my opinion, feel free to disagree but keep it polite/constructive. If I say something wrong then feel free to correct me, like if I say a character was doing something when they weren't, I'd rather be corrected then

Spoilers ahead! The update has been out for a bit but I'd rather cover all bases just to be safe.

Any screenshots will roughly be placed in the order they happen unless otherwise.

This entire sequence felt like the definition of "oh fuck...".

The fact that rather than the speech bubbles just having the cookies names, they were specially 'Crumbling Crunchy Chip' or 'Crumbling Mozzarella' felt like the biggest punch in the gut. We the players, and likely the characters as well, knew the fight wouldn't be easy considering how big Dark Enchantress was but I don't think anyone could have realized how badly they were going to start losing.

Even after Gingerbrave is thrown into the oven we see just how bad it is with a majority of said characters looking pretty much dead.

Spoilers for the Beast-yeast ep 13! This is a ramble with screenshots cause I'm screaming

So I finished episode 13, have so many thoughts and feelings, all good but also part of me is just screaming. Constantly.

So again: SPOILERS BELOW THE CUT!

Last warnings: I ramble like fuck, proper grammar is dead here, the screenshot qualities are very meh because my tablet is old and I don't want to be yelled at, also if you haven't finished it yet: Do it! It's so good!

First of all

First pull on the gacha woo! (I know they're an epic but shhhhh)

Second of all, like I said I finished episode 13.

Now I have to wait for more (The main reason for all the internal screaming.) and this blue little shit broke the fourth wall again and it feels like he's rubbing it in.

The cheer I let out seeing Dark Choco Cookie and then him saying he was Dark Cacao's son so openly had me yelling! Listen I like wholesome family stuff and want to see those two reconcile or at least talk more (Sidenote someone on insta suggested the idea that Devsisters might off Dark Cacao before him and Dark Choco can talk again. I don't think it'll happen, but I've been wrong before.)

Also Caramel Arrows reaction to hearing that Dark Choco was helping and had sent help melted my heart, girl believed in him no matter what!

EDIT (Literally an hour-ish later): I only posted this an hour ago as of writing this but I have one more thing to say in regards to Dark Choco Cookie.

Fuck Pomegranate Cookie. Not really hate, she's a cool character, but I want to also punch her in the face. Seeing Dark Choco make her crash out by finding and collecting the gems she initially had him plant (been a bit since I finished the Cookies of Darkness side story so forgive me if I'm misremembering) had me wheezing.

Finally: You know that one Markiplier meme "oh it's adorable... Oh it's traumatized... oh it has anxiety"?

Kind of hope these new cookies don't have a super sad ending cause jebus christ, a fluffy fix-it fanfic would do them some good.

Spoilers for Convergence of Fates!

It's late when I'm posting this so probably gonna work on it more in the morning assuming this makes 0 sense in the morning.

This is a ramble, I just wanted to get my thoughts out cause I thought this whole segment was so well done, grammar is weird here.

First of all, this is the most peaceful we've seen this blue gremlin look!

And god the voice acting in this scene, it couldn't have been more perfect for what was going on and what SM was saying.

This moment in particular too

I have the memory of a sive but I don't remember this sprite being used very often. Off the top of my head I can only remember one time it was used and it wasn't even technically SM but PV early in EP 7(?) during the whole "you'll become me" thing.

It's late so not gonna dig deep but, going back to the voice acting during all this SM sounds genuinely upset/distressed that what he thought was the truth was suddenly revealed to be a huge lie and he has no idea about what happened to the witches. He was still somewhat his usual self but the cracks were beginning to show.

(END: Again I'm tired but wanted to just throw this out there since I thought this scene was genuinely so well acted and written.)

Another Misc CRK post cause I can't sleep (Some spoilers for the EP 4)

Also don't take anything I say super seriously, I'm tired and typing as I'm going. I have an entire back log of screenshots and want to talk about everything so far since the story began so if anyone is interested keep an eye out for that!

Everyday we get closer and closer to seeing the other dragons come to kingdom (please don't let it just be Ananas) and I can promise anyone, the moment Lotus Dragon Cookie is added I'll be sinking everything into bringing them home. Excited for Ananas dragon too buuuut

They are beauty, they are grace, they could kindly rearrange my face.

(a tiny part of me also wants Pond Dino added purely because they're adorable but I realistically don't think it'll happen)

Also this entire interaction. First of all, the fact that BS straight up stutters and sputters (image 1 where it says "...") like even he knows Shadow Milk is loosing whatever marbles he had left and can't come up with anything to say.

But also kudos to him for sticking around when Shadow Milk is clearly a little more unhinged than usual (read: not even unhinged at this point, my guy isn't even connected to the door).

[Note: I do want to make a proper post talking about Shadow Milk and everything going on with him but just take this for now.]

New dogs just dropped! Same rules apply as to Cream Wolf, someone gonna catch these hands if they end up hurt /j /lh

Dark Cacao probably starting to feel old.

Anyone else find it funny how naïve/friendly MyCookie can be?

Like damn, some of the cookies they/you can talk to are/look pretty intimidating yet MyCookie is just :3
