Sam did indeed do a great job visually blocking Laura's belly from the audience in the first 7 episodes any time the group gets up from or sits down at the table. I didn't notice literally any of those times, and it wasn't until Laura mentioned it in ep 8 and I was rewatching some previous scenes I was like [leo pointing] there he is doing the thing! I had forgotten about Jester's habit of ordering a glass of milk from every bar and tavern lmao. in retrospect it does make sense because the only bar she would have previously known would have been the one downstairs at the Lavish Chateau, where they would have had a more expansive pantry for serving food alongside and presumably also would serve the boss's kid whatever she asked for and keep it in stock. milk? sure, that's easy peasy
